We’ve stayed here before and it’s a fine property. Not amazing, but good walkability and has always been clean and pleasant. While I’m assuming it’s temporary, the place was a mess. A ton of construction and painting. Ice machines and unplugged/unavailable because of construction. Dust and debris everywhere. Zero water available at breakfast (machine broken). Just not near the same.

The property was under obvious construction. The sprinkler heads in the rooms were covered up with tape. The first room we were in, the latch for the lock was broken and the balcony door would not lock. We were given another room, the desk clerk was very helpful with this. There were obvious areas within the rooms that suggested the construction was not complete, however the rooms were being made available.

My stay was great but my disappointment was I paid for a room with balcony with two chairs but the room had a sliding door that opens to a ledge, no chairs because it has no room like a balcony.

I checked in late and left early so didn't use any amenities other than breakfast. Breakfast starts at 7 and when I arrived at 7:10, all the hot food was gone. There was no employee to speak with until someone showed up at 7:30 and was surprised he had to make more. At 7:50, more hot food came. Breakfast was decent. Hotel is run down.

Nice hotel bad service
The hotel was nice but when I arrived there was nobody on the front desk & I waited 15 minutes for someone to appear. When the guy he asked if I had been waiting long & I said 15 mins & he said Not Long Then! It was a shame it started so bad as the hotel was good value for money & nice location.

I didn’t like the parking set up. It gets really dark so parking passed the building and walking back was a little bit scary but everything else was great!

The efficiency suite was very spacious and comfy. There was even a nice electric fireplace that we enjoyed. But...... you could hear everything from the adjoining room and the flushing of the toilet was really loud, for some reason we could not get the temp of the room adjusted so we finally just turned the fan on. Overall it was a pleasant stay

Very limited parking. There maybe 20-25 parking spaces (if that) available. If you don’t find a park then you’re told to park on the other side of the gated community then you walk back to the hotel.
The staff was pleasant and very helpful. If I stay here again, I will Uber to ensure not having to walk 5-10 minutes.

Awesome Place To Stay
The hotel was very nice. The concierge was very helpful to us as we had never been to Hilton Head before. The hotel was in a great location as Coligny Public Beach and Coligny Plaza is a short distance away. Or if you want you can walk across the street to the beach. We will definitely stay there again!

Love that the property was a quick walk to the beach. Room was spacious and staff was helpful. Only downside to the area was everything is covered with trees so you really have to pay attention day and night because things are hard to see off the road.

Hotel Stay, room, food service and front desk
The staff was nice. The hotel is undergoing renovation, so some parts, including the door to our room were not good. It scraped the floor each time it was open & closed. Carpet in hallway was old and somewhat dirty. The breakfast on day 1 had no coffee. We were scheduled for 4 nights bu had to leave 1 night early. I asked if that was ok at the front desk and she said that was fine. She failed to mention that we would be charged $28 for early departure, plus the fact that we were charged some taxes & fees as well. Not a good practice and staff should be up front with guests.

Hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and and there is a free golf calf shuttle that rides around the area. Parking was onsite and convenient. There was free hot breakfast. Other than that The pool was small.

Staff was not very friendly, but was not rude either. We were able to walk about 10 minutes to the beach. It looked very common and safe around the area and if you like to bike, they have bike rentals are right at that hotel.

Beat staff around!
The staff was awesome. The only negative was the floors in the room were wet and slippery. Could have been due to condensation, once I wiped them with a towel and turned the AC up a bit, everything was good.

Room was advertised with balcony. The balcony is not wide enough for chair or anything. Toilet made a terrible noise every time it flushed. Our room was near the elevator. Very noisy!

Our family stayed for 3 days, the first day the way they served for breakfast was terrible, every single guest was angry and not feel good, they didn't have enough staff and breakfast was not ready . It came one by one after you ask the staff . Even guest didn't have coffee and some people stood up in front of kitchen door to make sure if coffee get ready they be there before finished. Second day, enough staff in kitchen but in the scramble eggs pot was hair. I was so disappointed. Our family left the breakfast area and went to restaurant for eating breakfast.
Parking slot was not enough, we had to keep moving the car until a good and safe parking slot get open and we can park our car.

For a quick getaway this Hotel was perfect! Staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are pretty decent in comfort. The complementary breakfast was great with plenty of options for everyone. The beach is 3mins away by car and about 12-15mins walking. We would definitely book this hotel again in the future.

Location is what is important here. Walkability to the beach. Parking is the only issue as the Hotel has minimal spaces up front, and it is a decent walk if you don't get one. The Hotel is clean and quiet. The staff was great. Breakfast provided was good.
There is someone there who will try and talk you into a timeshare presentation.
Perfect getaway from me and my wife.

We stayed here for one night before our weekly rental was ready. Parking was not ideal. Our car had to be left on the side of the property behind as their spaces are very limited. The room where breakfast is served had a major leak in the ceiling; and while they put up a bin and water sign, the water still was puddled all over the floor which could have caused a major injury. The trash was overflowing so guests left their dirty plates on the tables. While it as manageable for one evening I was glad to check out.

Great location. Short walk to beach and shops. On a road trip and arrived early. Young lady at front desk took it upon herself to upgrade our room so we could check-in early. That was pretty awesome. Comfortable bed. Spacious and clean room. Everyone friendly.

From the time I checked in, all staff were extremely helpful and so nice. Hotel was very clean. Spacious room with both mini frig and microwave. I think I was upgraded to a gigantic TV. Delicious breakfast. Bicycle rental was right outside. This was on the quiet south side of the island but dining, beach and shopping were a short 5 minute walk away.

It had been a while since I had stayed at this hotel. Glad to see there have been improvements to the rooms and bath areas. The bathroom is small but looks like it was recently remodeled, very modern, and exceptionally clean. Our bed was comfortable and the AC worked well in the lowcountry humidity.
The public beach access is across the street and a very short walk.
The biggest issue is the lack of parking, although we were lucky enough to find one and simply walked everywhere else. I would consider staying here again.

Wish I can give it a 10
As much as I would love to give this hotel a 10 because the staff is nice and the rooms are very large and very clean, I cannot. First, The parking lot is so small and there is nowhere to park. We mostly just walked but when we did go out, I prayed that there would be parking. And you’re on vacation, you shouldn’t have to stress about the parking. Second, the person that checked us in was very nice but after it was done, he told us to go by this guy that was behind a desk to get information and a map about the area. So we did, but it turned out to be a timeshare guy. I didn’t need to waste my time listening his spiel about timeshare. But other than that, the hotel is very nice.

It was okay, the food was decent and the room was clean. I had to park a little far from the hotel, but Johnnie at the desk picked us up in a golf cart and brought us to the hotel.

Pleasantly impressed just how nice the hotel was. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice shower, mini fridge, keruig coffee. We were on the 5th floor and could see the ocean through the trees. Hot breakfast served every morning at 7am. Its walking distance to Coligny park/beach, shops and dining. But it does have beach access across the street from hotel, a 3-4 minute walk. The only negative was the parking. If you didn’t get a spot around the hotel, you needed to park further in the back of hotel but they would shuttle you back. They rent bikes at the hotel. Overall, I would recommend and I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast is very adequate, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage etc. proximity to ocean is great. Cross the street and short walk to beach. Coffee all day starting at 5:30, a huge plus. parking great. Stayed three nights, no one cleaned room until i went to front desk late afternoon on 2nd day, then someone cleaned room, made beds, never changed sheets. Every room and wall had dings--a general lack of attention to detail, through out the place. The owner says a big rehab is scheduled soon and it will become a double tree. Because of breakfast, proximity to ocean, and $93 a night will probably stay there again. It served my purpose,

Pro: Two walkable blocks to the beach. Con: Staff was unfriendly, rude, and incompetent. I have never stayed at a hotel in this condition. Everything is for show but is broken, the bed literally creaked from the first night and completely collapsed on the second night and we are not big people. I’ve never had to change rooms at a hotel, we were placed in 3 different rooms on our 2 day stay. First room- given someone else’s reservation because it was not the upgraded suite that we paid for. When I called the front desk, I was met with rudeness. When we came downstairs to get the correct room and key, the front desk person that was not even the receptionist that assisted us- raised her voice at us to say “Did y’all touch anything in the room?” In the next room it was missing the chair and desk, but we were so exhausted that we stayed in it. And when we went to sleep, we heard a loud creak and then the bed collapsed. At midnight! WTH! We then called and called the front desk, no answer. We walked downstairs and was met with a note with phone numbers on it. We used our cell to call the first name. He was rude. We were told to go back upstairs to the room and wait for him to come look at the bed. He came to the room and inspected the bed to tell us it was broken. My thoughts were, WTH! Yes clearly! But I asked, When can the bed be fixed? He said “Tomorrow at 8am” I told him we’re leaving at 11. Got the 3rd room for the weekend. SMH. The last room was the actual one I paid for!!

The hotel was close to the beach (Only a few minute walk) and close to all the shops and restaurants in Caligny Beach. We would have enjoyed a workout facility and more fresh fruit for breakfast (Only apples were available. Please add bananas and oranges).

Weekend Adventure in Hilton Head
The stay was amazing for the most part. There wasn’t any more parking options when we got there so had to park a little ways out. But the older gentleman made sure we had a way back. The room was very nice, one of the nicest rooms I have seen. The breakfast was amazing a lot of options if you wanted to eat there or grab and go. The only problem I had was the older lady in the morning she was kinda rude nothing in particular she just kinda had an attitude about doing her job.
