I know we arrived late due to the weather. It would have been nice if the maintenance informed the front office person that the room was not accessible. Two rooms were not accessible and it would take half an hour for maintenance to come and open the door. It was cold and late, having to make three trips to the front desk. It was nice that the staff to help to get us a room finally that opened. Then the curtains would not close all the way. I didn’t mean to complain just sharing my experience.

My stay at this hotel.was actually very nice, the staff was polite n respectful room was clean and had everything i had asked for. I did not know there was no coffee maker but other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Douglass at check in set the stage for one of the best stays I’ve had. He was a good listener, was polite and attentive. He anticipated my needs and got me the perfect room. He’s a gem- you should give him a raise. And no, I’ve never met him before in my life. If I come back to Kingman, it will be here that I stay. Thank you,

There was mold on the curtains above the air conditioner. Tissue was stuffed in the peephole of the door. The wall socket wasn’t in the wall but dangling with plugs plugged in. The plastic wrapping for the cup provided at the sink had yellow water in it, and it was sealed.

The area where its located is good. The parking lot has plenty of lighting and its clean. The front desk staff was very professional and polite. The building its self, is older and in need of maintenance. Specially on the second floor. Tge room was decent expected for a $53 a night hotel. The carpet is not the cleanest, yet, the room was acceptable. Linens were clean. However, im here in January, bring your own blankets because what is provided is not warm. I had to turn on the heat most of the night. Over all, I would not honey moon her, but it does get out through a night.

Bed was comfortable. I guess that's what matters. Not your standard Days Inn. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins and a fruit cup. Facility was run down and filthy. Floor in room was coming up.

We like the location, easy to find, and close to I40. The staff was friendly and gave us a room downstairs as we requested. The room was large and clean with modern furniture. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The breakfast was basic and good for takeout.
We definitely will return to this motel.

Not the experience I expected.
I reserved a king bed room. But, was not available. The queen room was old and hard to control light and temperature for sleeping. Floors and bathroom were very old. Sink faucet was loose and toilet doesn't flush well. Not the experience I expected.

It’s run down it’s cheap there’s hoodlums that hang out in the parking lot. Lock your car your stuff will get stolen. Don’t expect a decent breakfast bad coffee, no laundry the staff is a knowledgeable and actually has brought their children to work when I was there getting coffee? Sorry the staff isn’t paid enough to actually get daycare.

The hotel seemed OK for a night or two stop over. The room could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t filthy. The issue happened in the evening when key cards would no longer release the lock. Front desk and maintenance could not get the lock to work and resorted to jimmying the window open to enter the room. Maintenance issues happen but it was shocking when staff said - if you need to leave, just leave the window open to make it easier to get in again.

There is no way to describe how bad it was. I would like to post pictures to show you. We drove in and the signage had lights out.
We had a no smoking room but it had obviously been smoked in a lot. The room was saturated with cigarette smoke odor.
It was very worn out, and it smelled so bad, I almost went and slept in my car.
Do not stay here.

Will not stay here again
The girl who checked me and was super nice and efficient. The parking lot was dirty, trash, cigarette butts all over the place. The rooms are old. The chair for the desk was not in great shape, but it’s nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room though Had a roach climbing up the wall and their walk away. Breakfast is a joke. And our toilet will not flush all the time, but have to flush it from inside the tank.

We asked and reserved a king bed we got a room with two queens. A bit hard to sleep being a tall person. Other then that it was fine. Biggest drawback was the other guests making noise as they walked by the room or in the parking lot.

Got there they said they didn’t have my reservation, pulled up Expedia they said it didn’t exist on their end. I said who cares and bought a room anyways, my first room (king room) was not cleaned tossed sheets pervious trash ect. Manager was nice enough to offer a discount for the inconvenience and a new room. Stay was nice quiet enough.

Check in was good, friendly staff. Hotel is out dated, needs upkeep. I could hear the peoples TV in the room next door blaring through my walls at 1:30 AM. It is ok for an overnight stay but not comfortable for several nights.

The room has been poorly maintained. Patched walls with spider painted in and dirty floors. Lights between beds were at such a wonky level it was comical. Beds I think were fine. Not terrible but old and tired room. Thankful for the little fridge to refreeze our cooler containers.

We have stayed here a couple of times. The hotel is not fancy but it’s clean, in a convenient location to everything and the staff has always been very friendly. Meets are needs and the price is very affordable. Would recommend this place if you are looking for down to earth and easily accessible hotel.

You Get What You Pay For
We were in them middle of a long drive and stopped here. The desk women were wonderful. We were greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom. Honestly, I only saw the one, but it gave me the heebie jeebies all night. The window shades were all worn out and holey. The bed and pillows were fine, and the hotel was amazingly quiet, yet the parking lot was full. It suited our needs...minus the bug.

Upon arrival, I witnessed the front desk receptionist yelling at a customer who wanted his cash money back because his unit had mold and he refused to stay there with his elderly father. He threatened to call the police and another manager was called who was on the speaker and wasn’t that polite either, but the customer did get his money back. Once I entered my room at a glance it looked ok. However, once I made my way through the room, I had a couple of dead bugs on the floor, a quarter size spider I had to kill on the wall by the sink, and mold spots in corners and along the lining of the shower and tub. The floor was sticky. Given that no more rooms were available and I had just drove 15 hours, I just endured. I definitely don’t recommend this property, but there was ample parking, and the other residents were cordial.

Pet friendly rooms not impressive
Pet room, so we understand the pet deposit, but room is in bad need of a remodel. Flooring in sad shape, sheets were old and worn, bottoms of doors had water damage. Bathroom very clean. Second time we have stayed here - same comments would apply to previous room /stay.

Convenient but on a very busy road. Did have a visitor 1st nite (roach). Room wasn't dirty but wall had hole in it. Breakfast was disappointing as selection was only couple items ie muffin and fruit cup. People were friendly.

This is the second time at this property. Last time I failed to extend my stay prior to leaving. When I returned my belongings were all missing and no one could locate them. When finally found (hidden in a closet) I was missing some items. This time there was a error with my booking sun-sat last week and sun-sat next week. This left me without a room for tonight(sat into sun) They would not add it to either reservation and wanted to charge almost 3X the average nightly rate I was paying for both my other stays. Instead I will be staying at the days inn down the road for a decent price. If I could get my money back I would cancel my next weeks reservation but it is non refundable. I travel to Kingman frequently and this will be the last time anyone from my company will utilize this facility.

Terrible stay
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place at all. The room smelled strongly of cat urine, there was no hot water for a shower, no coffee maker in the room, the hot water in the lobby (for tea) wasn’t working, the pool was closed and the pet area had no bags and was filled with dog poop. Would never stay here again.

This is an old building still popcorn ceiling with years of accumulated dinge. The toilets took several times to flush. There must have been bugs in the room because I woke with several bug bites.

The room has a very bad smell. Since we moved the blankets on the bed, they would not change the room and only gave a deodorant spray to cope. They would not refund either.Everything was worn out and shabby in the room.

Service was cool. Room was infested with bugs. Under the beds were so many roaches. I wrapped myself in a blanket I brought and slept fully clothed. I would never stay at a days inn again. $122 for a big infested room with no lock for security. Someone opened the door while we were sleeping

Not very clean
I was really surprised how dilapidated this place was. While you get what you pay for i didn't expect large, unpainted patches on the walls, bugs on the floor, questionably clean sheets or a toilet that can't even flush #1. In the morning i realized where the bugs came from... under the door. Place gave me the creeps and i didn't sleep well. Next time I'll spend a few bucks more and go down the road. I didn't expect this from a name brand chain.

My stay wasn't bad. I read other reviews saying that reception didn't have much personality or wasn't pleasant, I also experienced that. For instance, I went to check in and there was a girl ahead of me who had just come up to the desk. She said to the receptionist, "hello, beautiful," just being friendly, and the receptionist didn't make eye contact or acknowledge what was said.
The room wasn't bad for the most part, though the people staying in the hotel looked questionable. It seemed like everyone was standing outside their room eating or talking or watching everyone else. Inside the room, the sink faucet's handle looked like it was about to fall off. We saw what looked like a tick or bed bug on the floor in the bathroom. I also found it odd that there seemed to be only one power outlet in the living room and you'd think they would have arranged furniture so that it would be near the desk in case someone wanted to plug in a laptop, but instead there was a power strip and it was stuffed with plugs and not easy to access.
I've read other reviews where people complain about the breakfast, I don't think it was bad. It's literally a brown lunch bag, you get a little water bottle, an apple juice box, a muffin, a fruit cup and they've got a coffee station set up. It may not be eggs, bacon, and a waffle, but it's better than nothing.
The girl working reception in the morning was a lot friendlier, so at least the goodbye was more pleasant.

The room was dirty, it smell, floors weren’t clean. The bed was like ply board. The sheets didn’t fit. Could hear the people that live in the room next door. AC was loud and the TV was stuck on HMI. Remote and TV didn’t work. No breakfast just a small bag with mini muffin, mini water bottle, fruit cup and juice box. Coffee watery and bad. It’s old and run down. The night person wasn’t friendly. DO NOT STAY THERE!! Not worth it!

The pictures do NOT represent what the current rooms look like. The walls are orange and not white; and the brightness of the room is incorrect. When I had booked the room for our cross country move, I did based on the pictures. We were disappointed to say the least. The front desk clerk was nice; but what wasn’t nice was seeing the sign scolding the housekeeping staff about being on their phones - demanding if they have to make an emergency phone call to clock out. While I get the rule; having a sign posted where guests can see gives off an unprofessional feel. We almost asked for a refund and to find another hotel because of the state of the parking lot and the feeling of being unsafe when we parked. However, since we were all hungry and tired we decided to stay. While they have a designated pet area; it’s all pebbles and for an area that gets hot, it’s not good for pets feet. The room itself was clean. However it is in desperate need of an update. The curtains had holes, the door seemed to be on its last leg, the bathroom smelled moldy (like you could tell it doesn’t have great ventilation). The TV worked in one room but not the other. The AC worked very well in one room but not well enough in the other (banged a few times during the night). We also booked simply due to having a breakfast. What we didn’t know is that it would be a grab bag - so we passed as there didn’t seem to be a area to eat

A great stay on Route 66 an hour and a half away from the west rim of the Grand Canyon. It’s very clean and quiet. The breakfast is simple but good!
