This stay was terrible, rude and uncaring. There was cockroaches in our room it was dirty the tiles were coming off the floor/ wall in the bathroom and at the front door felt like there was a hole in the ground. Definitely not worth the money or the stay, had to cancel an extra night because of the filth in the room the floors were dirty and not throughly cleaned or mopped. I’m hoping to be accommodated for this stay or another opportunity for the hotel to make things right.

Check in, clean your own room, bring your linens and towels to the front on your own and hope they have clean ones. Staff will make you feel like you’re an inconvenience to them. Roaches and gnats everywhere. Some rooms have different amenities than others.

If you are looking for decent place to sleep, this hotel is not bad. It's decently clean, there's hot water. The downside is the cable doesn't work and the the internet works but is super annoying, also the 2 days we were here we did see 2 roaches.

Let’s start with that I couldn’t get into the room. The front desk had to inform me that “oh, for that room you have to lift the door handle”. Once in the room, found that there was no blanket, just a sheet on the bed, no toilet paper, no Kleenex, no moulding in the bathroom… no trash can and smelled musty. It seemed that it may have been a work-in-progress refurbish room, certainly not ready for guests.

The room was the worst I've ever stayed in at Days Inn. Toilet tank was draining so the water was almost constantly refilling. The towel bar was ripped off the wall. I smelled the stale air of the room on my clothes untill I washed it.

Worst hotel experience EVER !!!
I reserved a king but they said they only had a double bed. TV was broken. We had to move our belongings to a 2nd room; the TV was broken in that room also.
There were NO security cameras outside, we felt unsafe.
It was an adjoining room (I did not book) with no security latch. I could have opened that door with a jarring push.
There was no upper latch security lock on the door. A hole had been punched left of the door, so there was no light switch to turn on the pole lamp. There were other huge patched holes in the walls.
3 light bulbs were burnt out.
No trash can, no ice bucket, no coffee maker, no plastic cups, no hairdryer, no tissue box.
Microwave was so rusted out it was unsafe to use.
Toilet seat was too large for the base and racked back and forth in use like it was going to break off.
There was not even ONE chair in the room to sit down.
Hundreds of ants crawling across the bathroom sink. And yes, there was a couple of LIVE roaches crawling on the floor !!!
Hotels.com said I paid the hotel, the refund must come from the hotel. I've spent over 2 weeks calling Samantha, the manager, for a refund. Each time I'm told "she is not there". Once Samantha even answered the phone, said she would connect me to the manager, and finally after 24 mins on HOLD, I finally hung up. I called back many times right then; my call went to the automated voicemail loop with no option to ring the front desk. Samantha does NOT reply to my emails.
Horrible night! I demand a refund!

There was absolutely nothing to like about this property. They should be forced to close umtil the owner makes the hotel rooms livable. We booked 2 rooms one had so much mold all over the smell alone, we was unable to even walk inside. The 2nd room smelled of years of smoke, it had mold all on the ceiling in the shower, roaches ,dirty sheets and exposed wires from the air-conditioned. NOTHING was offered to fix the issues not even another room. Couldn't even get a refund to book another hotel. I paid $447.00 and all they was willing to give me was 77.80 and a bumch of lies.

The staff were rude. They room looked like it was in the middle of a remodel: holes in the wall, bugs, and the door wouldn't close even when locked. I didn’t even stay the night. Immediately left.

1st off...you get what you pay for!!!! The 1st room smelled like cigarettes and fish then the 2nd room had a sewer smell, was told they were having an issue with the plumbing, okay. Nothing was clean!!! No towels in the room and the Biggest thing......One of the staff stole my firestick that was accidentally left in the room!!!! I called up there and was told by Cassie that noone has been in that room since we left and she would check when she got off & call me, NO CALL!! So i called back and was told to call at 9 in the morning. Did that and spoke to Samantha, she was very nice, she went to check and said it wasnt there! So one of the housekeepers took or should i say Stole my Firestick!!! JUST BE CAREFUL WHEN STAYING HERE PAY CHEAP GET CHEAP EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Reservation was for a room with a king size bed. I was asked if I required a handicap accessible room and when I said no they said they wanted to switch me to a room with 2 beds and made it sound like an upgrade. I got distracted so not sure if she mentioned what size the beds were, but they ended up being twins. The 1st room I was given hadnt been cleaned. I walked in and saw the sheets were balled up on one bed, it had musty smell, trash on the night stand and the light switch didn't work. The 2nd room I was given also had a musty smell, holes in the wall, screws sticking out of the wall, dirt and what looked like mold on the base boards, the head board for one of the beds that was mounted on the wall had broken off and left on the floor between the bed and the wall, a hole in a different wall with exposed wires, and there was no soap or any towels in the room. I went to the desk to get some and I was told they were out of soap and only had shampoo and conditioner. The only positive thing was that the people at the front desk were friendly.

Broken, not loose shower rod. Bath tub faucet didn't work. Cold showers. Door that divides both rooms not secure. Train runs behind hotel at 5 am in the morning. It will wake you up. Rust on everything. Continental breakfast was a joke. It fed families that lived there. There was many families living in hotel. Construction truck leaving at 6 am. Worst hotel I have stayed at in the USA.

Very unsatisfying customer
We NEED a TV .. it would not work . Went to the front desk and they said they would come fix it or get us another one.. have us 3 more remotes to try to get the problem solved… nothing !!!! No TV and he needs one to sleep….
The bed was comfortable but the linens looked like there was foot prints on them. The bathroom tub looked dirty . But still used the shower. Only one towel for two people . Tiles on the bathroom floor loose. Floor in the room near sink area was very uneven . Hole in The wall behind the door..
No deadbolt on the door, only a flimsy latch . Microwave and mini frig did work.
Breakfast items were sufficient. Apples, oatmeal packets, cinnamon raisin bread cereal, yogurt, milk coffee juice and condiments. Checking in was fine. When trying to figure out the issue with the TV , dude was obviously high and said he didn’t know what to do and handed us 3 other remotes to try to fix the problem. Very unsatisfactory situation and not happy that the price of the room was inflated because it was Biketoberfest with nothing extra for the extra price. Paid more for less.
My GOOGLE REVIEWS all over the country have had over a million views….. this one will not help this situation, or get me and money refunded that I already paid for…. We will stay at Econo Lodge next door next year!

Worst experience at a Wyndham no less
Very disappointed in this place. After I had paid, I was told to look at the room and if I didn't like it, come back within 10 minutes and they would give us another one. (Thought that was a little strange) Well, we couldn't get the door open and then my son really put some muscle behind it and it opened. The lights did not work by the bed or closer to the door. The light worked in the bathroom and by the outer sink and that illuminated cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling. We went back to the desk and told her the problem with the room and wanted another one. She said that was the best one they had. I asked if she really expected guests to stay in a room with no lights full of spider webs and she said there was a view of the pool. Are you kiddin' me? It was pitch dark and also very dark outside the room which made it feel unsafe. She said there are no other rooms better and handed me my paper back and said I'd get a credit in 5-7 days.

The room smells terrible. AC is blowing off smelly air, it triggered my allergies. Roach is in the wall. Towel is only one for two guests. Pillow isnt clean. Hair dryer/blower isnt functioning well.

We were told as we were checking in that the property was under renovation. I wish they had informed us of this before we arrived, but it was too late to try to find somewhere else to stay. The room was very dirty...not only in need of a renovation, but dirty. I will not stay here again.

Building was in disrepair. No room number on my room- looked like it was penciled in. Curtain did not hang properly. Wall behind shower was a mess and falling apart. Water from a/c units was leaking out of rooms onto sidewalk, which presented a risk of someone slipping and falling.

I had to get a refund there was no towels no washcloths no toilet paper the bedding was filthy the room stunk no cable outside of the door had a crack in it you could see in lamp shade broken holes in wall a big black bag full of God knows what a whole bunch of crackheads running around and as I was checking in somebody else came in they freaking sink she was shooting water everywhere very terrible terrible place

Absolutely nothing was to be liked it was horrible. Floors collapsing in, Mold in room, dirty, broken outlets, furniture wasn't moved to clean under. Floor was so dirty your feet turned black after the shower. Entry door was broken into and not properly repaired. TV was placed on an unsteady shelf and staff had nothing but excuses. It was not the room in the pics that we booked left early due to HEALTH HAZARDS We even took pics and video of what it looks like when we had no choice but to stay one out of three nights. Maintenance never even showed to look at the issues due to their lack of concern and poor attitude when we said something.

Our stay was extremely unpleasant. Arriving at the hotel on Friday August 11 at 10 pm, we were faced with a one-hour wait for check-in due to a power outage. Once we finally completed the check-in process, the front desk attendant gave us 5 minutes to decide whether we wanted to change rooms due to their conditions.
Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed extensive mold on the curtains and a pervasive musty odor making it hard to breathe. Our discomfort intensified as we discovered cockroaches scurrying about. The bed was unsightly, marked with stains and even dog paw prints. To make matters worse, the room lacked essential amenities like toilet paper and shower towels, and the bathroom was unclean and the door didn’t even lock
Attempting to address our concerns, we sought assistance from the hotel staff. We found them in the back of the hotel, hanging out with the people that live in the hotel doing god knows what. Returning to the front desk, we encountered a helpful man who facilitated our check-out for the following day, as it had already passed midnight.
In the morning, I approached the front desk in search of clean towels, as we were informed they would be available. However, the receptionist was brusque and informed me that no towels were available, and telling me to check out if i wanted. This was by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed b in,the walls had piece of food on it b that had been there so long it was molded over ,the bathroom celling was tearing apart and the shower curtain was riddled with b lack mold,and at there were no towels invthe room it took us 4 hours to get towel and they only gavebus 2 for a party of 4,there where no wash rags,if it wasnt for my kids wanting to go to the beach i would have left..

It’s filthy put bath towel on floor to walk with. Was filthy dirty in first few minutes. The door going out of unit filthy. The walkways are filthy trash in walkway over filled. No waste basket inside. There isn’t even pillow cases in pillow or toilet paper in bathroom. Never ever use you again. You should be ashamed to list this.
Bed spreads stained as soon as you walk in.
Travelocity should not advertise grossest of gross.

This place was filled with cockroaches. The beds were stained, the floor had gum on it, holes in the walls, broken TV, the bathroom was filled with rust, and it reeked of mold. This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to and I’ll never stay here again. We weren’t able to find another place at the time so we stayed up throughout the night so the cockroaches would get on us and we left as soon as the front desk attendant showed up at 5am.

L’hôtel de la décrépitude
Tout d’abord, j’ai eu une première chambre dont les lits n’avaient pas de draps ni couverture. J’ai été changé de chambre et envoyer dans une pièce dont le ménage n’avait pas été fait. Il y avait des déchets dans la chambre et des excréments dans la toilette. Ensuite, j’ai été redirigé vers une chambre dont le plancher était terriblement salle. Il y avait une forte odeur d’humidité ou moisissure dans la chambre. J’ai demandé à modifier ma réservation. La gérante a accepté mais pendant la nuit, mon véhicule a été remorqué, sous prétexte que j’étais stationné de reculons. Des frais de 250.00US$ ont été payés pour récupérer ma voiture. Coïncidence? Oh je ne pense pas!!! Cette établissement est tellement infect qu’elle ne devrait même pas être annoncé sur les sites de réservation. En fait, elle devrait perdre sa licence d’opération!

Horrible! Horrible! Unsafe, weird people sitting outside. Rooms were dirty. No toilet paper and bathtub full of hair. The curtains were disgusting and the sheets looked like hadn’t been changed in months. The smell was bad. When we complained, they said they had no housekeeping. So we just picked up and left. The lady in the front desk was very nice. Is the only good thing I can say about this hotel.

Room was very dirty with garments and fingernails from previous guests left in room. No towels or extra toilet paper. Dried blood on the sheets and missing pillow cases. I would recommend finding another hotel nearby.

I specifically booked a king size bed. All they had was a double. Went to room. It was dirty. The floor hadnt been swept in weeks. The bathroom smelled like urine. Stains on the bedding. Just no! I went back to office and gave them the key right back. Do not stay here!

Stayed 4 nights. 3rd night had a bit if noise next to me. The next morning the same group banging on the door to get in instead of going and getting a new key. Overall good stay. For the price a great clean bed and towels were clean also.

Second room pretty much same, old and smelled like mildew. Towel hanging on back of door. The a/c unit held up by 3 blocks of wood. But at least bed was comfortable. I really was only there to sleep.

A lovely reception area and lovely staff.
Felt welcoming and was quick and simple to check in.
Rooms are located on 2 levels although no lift only a few stairs to level 2 and lots of stairways available.
Rooms are lovely and clean, comfortable beds, modern microwave, fridge with freezer section and coffee making facilities.
Desk area with chair is a helpful extra.
Bathroom clean and tidy with fluffy towels.
Pool area is small but adequate however when we visited it could have done with a sweep up (this was approx 6pm however)
For the price we couldnt fault our stay.

DANGER!!
This place is disgusting!!! Pills on the floor used soap in the holder.. spider in the bathtub.. stained sheets on the bed.. Rude front deskclevis plus a lot right liar * tina *.. really sad from Wyndham to have their name on this place.. also 3 other couples we didn't know took one look at their rooms and left.

Nasty. Very dirty. Did Not stay in the hotel. The rooms I was given didn't have water or A Television. Smelled like Smoke and dirt. Very unhealthy. The receptionist stated that she refunded the money back to Orbitz for the reservation.

When you first walk into the unit the smell of mold hits you like a truck. walked in the bathroom and the shower curtain was was folded over the rod and there was black mold all over it. Room was for 2 people only one towel available, asked for more towels at the front office and was told there was none available so me and my girlfriend had to share one. The staff was complaining a lot about guests not being happy. When walking around the property, smell of urine was everywhere. One of the nights around 3 AM was woken up by someone fidgeting with the lock trying to come inside the room.

DO NOT STAY HERE. MOLD IN THE BATHROOM CEILING, COCKROACHES, USED SOAP LEFT IN THE SHOWER, HOT WATER DID NOT WORK, SHEETS WERE STAINED, NO COMFORTER.
As we put our luggage back in the car, the manager walked outside and we began to tell her about all the problems with the room and she rudely answered “Well did you not read the reviews before staying here?” You can just imagine how downhill the conversation went from there. HORRID SERVICE.
We stayed for 5 minutes before leaving immediately and going elsewhere. We did not receive a refund. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND PRETEND THIS PLACE DOES NOT EXIST.

I think the bed was the only thing clean in the entire room. The curtain and shower curtain had what looked like feces all over them. The floor was covered in sand and hair The front desk lady cancelled our Expedia reservation that was already paid for so we had to pay again and wait for our refund on what we already paid and it cost around 100 dollars more because there was no Expedia discount up front

It was disgusting, run down in a bad side of town, no pool. Check in was late. The front desk lady told me if i wanted in my room i would have to take off the old linens and do mine my self. This was at 4. When check in was 3. So unfriendly and not organized at all. Will never go back. Ever!

I did not like a thing about it.I have never stayed at a hotel this bad.It was terrible the day I checked in.I expressed my concerns from very beginning and was lied to.All they had to do was tell me the truth from begining.I explained I was having a party the first day checked in and if the pool wasn't going to be fixed lmk or had to change hotels she lied to me time after time about that and everything else I asked for manger she toldw wasn't there that was a lie .I went to front desk every day same thing called for help everyday morning bye time received help was to late and had no where to go due to all hotels booked for holiday.It could have all been avoided if she would have just told me nothing could be done and refunded me the first day.My daughter's party was cancelled and ruined I even expressed this was very important to use because we had been going threw a hard time these last few months ahe looked forward to this for months and it was ruined and I cannot get that back and to top it all off the conditions were horrible.Tne way they run that hotel is a wonder how they get return customers.This was the worst experience we ever had and we stay in hotels a lot as I travel for work and we lost our apartment in a hurricane.I have stayed at Days In. Several times and never had any problems.I received no service I had to clean my own room had to buy towels and wash them to use They trash was never picked up it lookalike garbage heap at bottom of steps no hot water etc

The rooms were extremely dirty. There were spider nets at the corners. We found a cockroach on the sheet when we woke up the first day. The towels were extremely dirty. The sheets and pillows were smelling, as if they were not washed for a while. As far as we understood the hotel had personnel shortage and the manager at the reception was trying to do her best.
Overall: a dirty room, and definitely don’t deserve a second chance.

Hotel closed during stay and no service rip off
We checked in to find the our room, dirty and filled ( curtains and walls ) with mold and mildew. We had prepaid and was told no other rooms available.
The hotel had no staff, all had walked out, including housekeeping. There were no clean towels no, there was no service to the room, and there was no breakfast the days we were there due to the hotel, canceling all reservations after we arrived, and shutting down their lobby. The pool was like black tar in unusable. Although there was supposedly no staff, we also had $2000 in cash our entire spending money stolen from the room while we went out to dinner.
Needless to say, it was the worst place I have ever stayed. I have contacted Hotels.com and asked for a full refund.
I would not recommend the days in Ormond Beach hotel, and unless I receive a refund I will not recommend hotels.com.

the manager said she just brought the property she is trying to fix it. I hope she succeed, no phone in the room because service has not been restore, crack dirty floor,dirty towel, no a/c outlet, only one side of the air conditioner was working, the water in the pool was green, garbage was right outside my room no hot water for an entire night.

The hotel is old and dilapidated. However, the staff, and especially Amber, were hospitable and very professional. They made sure my room was clean and all the facilities were serviceable. A continental breakfast was served in the lobby. Overall, I had a good experience at Days Inn Ormond Beach.

We could not stay there. The front desk and the manager were having a loud argument with a customer that went on for the 20 minutes that I waited. They were rude when I asked to check in and I finally told them to cancel our reservation. Please refund our money!

For starters. I had trouble entering the room. The mechanism on the entry door was messed up. No phone, no coffee maker, no wastebasket, no nightstand, no clock, tv didn't work and 2 lamps didn't work. The air conditioner made strange high pitch noises all night. The one good thing about this place was the excellent receptionist at the front desk who checked me in.

Our door looked like it was kicked in. There was no metal latch for the lock on the door. Very unsafe. We thought it was going to be a better place to stay because it was part of wyndham group. Never will we ever stay there again. The cleaning lady tried her best. But the conditions for her were horrible.

I booked a king room, then at check in they informed me that Expedia over booked their rooms and i had to take a room with two small double beds at the same rate. Checked in at 4:40pm and room wasn't ready. Toilets wouldn't flush without almost overflowing, sink and tub wouldn't drain and the floor was dirty, sticky and disgusting. Very disappointed with the whole thing. Will not book with Expedia again!!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Room was not good at all. Musky smell in room (smelt like black mold). No towels (had to ask twice for towels before I was given some that were stained and rough like sandpaper). No fitted sheet, just a flat sheet and what they call a bedspread that was as thin as a flat sheet. Amenities listed stated coffee maker, ironing board, etc in all rooms. No coffee maker! No ironing board. Stains/marks on walls, doors and ceiling. Last night of stay out key cards wouldn't work and it took about an hour to get into our room (batteries needed changed). Needless to say, I will not return to Days Inn near Destination Daytona ever again! (I have photos of everything but the site isn't letting me upload any of them.)

We booked with you Expedia, abd write you and the hotel manager several times. No one replied. Room wasnt available and we waited hours to find out if we could get in. Short staffed hotel as well and badly managed.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room had a bad smell. The toilet seat was loose. The mattress was dirty. There were no towels I could not stay there so I went down to tell him that we were leaving and I need a full refund. They tell me that I have to contact Hotels.com to get a refund. My name is James Edelen. My phone number is 904-962-9162. Most disgusting hotel ever. Dirty, poor repair, fly larvae, holes in wall, no blanket or fitted bottom sheet, fridge exterior had rust cancer all over. Not worth $265 for one night. Shady occupants.

Race night stay
Really dated rooms, sink faucet handle was rusted off and broken. It was only for the night after the race so tolerable but cheap and noisy.

Very unprofessional I don’t know how a place like this can operate and have Expedia recommend them.

Worste room I ever had in 44 years
Checked in around 4 pm an hour after check in time... "there are pictures of everything" Nothing looks like the hotel pictures.
Well to start the door was pried open at some point and has no inner frame "very improper repair literally a small piece of wood to repair is all that's needed" not very secure.
It's supposed to be a double bed and they gave us a single bed.
The floors are dirty " so dirty that my socks turned black walking to bathroom sink. Desk has bugs on it and around it; night stand has one crushed on it.
The AC unit has what looks to be a tuft of pubic hair on it. The rusty ironing board had the cover taken. The shower has shoe marks all over the interior. The shower curtain rod is broken and hanging " as it looks like someone cracked its mountings probably children hanging on it .... The towel rack above the toilet is broken, hanging, and barely attached to the wall "slid further down almost hit me in head". So I can't use the toilet without fear of getting cracked in the head,But hey the flush handle is messed up too!
The closet is missing the rod and hangers.
I had talked to the GM and bringing attention to the fact I did not damage this stuff the only reassurance is that they said I would not be held responsible... I realize they are short staffed for cleaning as the girl said, but cmon this is alot of unresolved maintenance and cleaning. I know every business has bad days, but still this room is in unacceptable condition and super dirty!
I'm now stuck..

The room was filthy and there were no towels, even when I called and asked for them, service manager said they were out. I mean, not even 1 in the room was there! Toilet was dirty. I would never stay at one again!

Not impressed at all. It looks like they may be doing some much needed improvements, however the room I was in was one that is yet to be worked on. The staff was very nice but it didn't make up for the room. There didn't appear to be any cleaning staff, I had to go to the front desk to get more towels to shower with. Room had a musty smell. Location was good as it was close to highway and a few restaurants.

No towels , no coffee , breakfast was three pieces of bread and ran out of coffee . Unfortunately worst motel ever regardless of cost and if you keep them on your site you lose all credibility and in the future I will go elsewhere for bookings !

Do not stay at this hotel.
1 staff lady was nice. Everyone else didnt care to be there.
Checked in at 7pm...was not told they didnt have any towels. Got back after dinner and found out.
Tried to call front desk and there was no phone cord...phone yes...no cord.
Front office said they have been out of towels for days and gave us hand towels to use.
Floor was dirty, shower constantly leaked, mold on the walls around the window, and door would not seal when closed. Could see around the edges and cold air blowing in. (Past weekend was 34 low and 55 high).
Joel is the manager and was not really concerned.
Guessing someone went to dollar general and bought 4 of the cheapest towels he could find and didnt wash them...just handed them to us.
Will NEVER stay there again.
