Not impressed
The hotel looked nice and renovated on the inside and out, but once we got in the room and pulled down the covers on the bed there was a huge ball of hair. The front desk guy was by himself and swamped so he gave us sheets to change the bed ourselves! The kids couldn’t use the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated because it was freezing cold. The AC in the room was shotty and would only work with the fan on manual setting. We won’t be back.

Property was in a great location, and overall, we had nice stay. The only negative is that because the hotel is open in the middle, the sound carried and it was extremely noisy until well after 10pm.

The bedding had not been changed and had hair on the sheets. It was late and there was an extra sheet in the closet so we stripped the bed and used the flat sheet. The room seemed clean but the bed was absolutely not clean.

This was to say the least the most unsanitary hotel my family and I have ever stayed. The first room smelled like something died in it, so we moved to another room. That room the sheets and the curtains were disgusting. I wanted to leave but the lady said since we booked with a 3rd party there was nothing she could do. We had the worst night sleep ever, the food the next morning we were honestly scared to eat it. I took a picture of a lemon that they left in the lemon water that was molded. I told the from desk and to my demise it was still there the very next morning. I don’t know what else to say, but I’m in disgust

Lack of comfort
Cleanliness was average or below average. The issue with this stay was the noise, in a room with suite joining doors, the neighbor was up till after 2am being very loud. In this situation, no additional rooms were available and moving was not an option. So in the middle of the night, we had to leave and find lodging elsewhere. Booking through third party like hotels.com is a hassle if you end up having to leave the hotel. No refunds are given from hotel companies if you dont book direct. It’s not unreasonable to expect to have a decent nights sleep, you are paying for that comfort first and foremost. Will not be staying at comfort suites in the future.

When we arrived, we had to give a $200 deposit which was not advertised. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude regarding the deposit. My husband and I decided to check the room before bringing items inside. We found a giant hole in the wall, blood on the curtains and stained blood on the mattress. We took photos and brought those to the front desk immediately. She claims those had not been reported previously. The next morning our room had a terrible odor, so I asked housekeeping about the odor. She informed me the odor was due to marijuana smoked in a room down from us days prior to our arrival. I decided I should talk with the General Manager regarding the odor because I didn't not want to my damage deposit to not be refunded due to someone else. The GM was very rude and tried to intimidate me. He told me the odor was a new cleaning solution being used, that was untrue. When we talked about the damaged room, he told me the stain was BBQ sauce not blood also untrue. Then he told me he might not decide to refund my deposit due to me confronting him. I have not received my refund for my deposit, and it has been a week today. If I do not receive my refund on the deposit, I will contact a lawyer. I have photos that prove we did not cause any damages. We also could not use the pool because the water was dirty and looked like algae was forming around the pool walls. It was a terrible experience I will never return.

The fact that check out is at 9:00 a.m. and check in isn't until 3:00 p.m. We had to wait until 4:00 because our room wasn't ready. Getting six hours. 10:00 would be more reasonable.

A great rest in Anderson
A comfortable stay in town with a yummy continental breakfast. We weren't able to use the indoor pool while we were there but it looked nice. Staff were all very friendly and the space was quiet and amenities were in good condition.

Pretty good
Took a short trip north to shop a little and let our daughter and a friend swim in a hotel pool. All is good except on college football game day can't turn on the TV in the lobby because someone abused that amenity. The lady who explained it to me was very nice but still it hurts the hotel a little on a college game day .. all the rest of the hotels would have the games on no doubt about it, especially in this area.

Found trash under the sofa, we are a family of 5 so we always use the pull out sofa. There was an acrylic nail on the floor. And we didn’t notice until the morning when we took showers that there wasn’t a shower curtain.

Clean room lame breakfast. Seriously have hot coffee not barely warm. Has a waffle at center table and was told to move cause it was an “electric table”. It was for my protection to not get electrocuted. Same type of table was in my room where I had a drink. Would I stay here again?. Depends on the Expedia deal

Bad Choice
The hotel was not good. The persons at the front desk are slow to come to the desk. I was met by the person at the front desk eating while they checked me in. The hand sanitizer machines are not working. The breakfast was good and well supplied one day and not the next. James, the manager on duty, was not very cordial. He seemed to always be in a hurry and push things along. I was there for four nights and not once was did the bed get made. I did get clean towels and and trash emptied but only after I put out the card on the door. I heard from other guests that the pool was not always open. The hotel did not seem clean.

A/C was not working properly with lobby being a sauna and room was hot and musty smelling. Was sort of like camping on a warm night with a fan only and having teenagers shoes sitting next to your head. We tolerated it since staying just one short night, but if we were staying longer, we would have found another hotel.

It was good after our initial check in
When we walked in to check in, the lady was very unprofessional and apparently was getting off to go home so she was laughing and talking loud instead of welcoming us. A nice African man checked us in smoothly and kindly.
Other than her, the lobby and room were nice. Location was great!

At 7am they was out of food for breakfast. Two of the workers were sitting in the lobby on there phone’s and not refilling the breakfast foods. They were rude also.

We got there and the staff was rude and threaten to kick my daughter out my room for a comment they thought was directed towards them. Couldn’t take breakfast to your room, everyone doesn’t want to eat in public and the food was nasty. No one took out our trash, clean the room or change the bedding. Very unprofessional and bad hospitality.

The property was very nice and well maintained. The only issue I had was when I checked out the staff didn’t even acknowledge me and couldn’t be bothered to put down their phones to even say hello/goodbye.

Stayed here specifically for indoor pool. When I got ready to swim pool was green. Front desk attendant said it’s cleaned twice a week that was the color of the paint. ( bull 💩) they aren’t cleaning the bottom of the pool . Who in there right mind would paint a pool to look like pond scum. We have pictures to back up what I am saying

Came to town for Clemson homecoming. Not a bad drive to the campus. Very clean hotel, which the number one priority for me. Bed was very comfortable & all the staff was very friendly.

None of the bathroom outlets worked, the coffee pot outlet didn't work, neither overhead light worked and the HVAC also had power issues and didn't run. We paid premium for the room due to the Clemson game and the hurricane and would expect basic features to work.

Booked for traveling work crew. We always book individual nights in case we have to move throughout the day. We stayed Wednesday night, checked out Thursday morning with no trouble. Ended up staying Thursday night as well. When we checked in Thursday the room had never been cleaned from the night before, which would have been fine except we checked out and we’re staying under a new reservation. We complained and when we went to check out Friday morning the guy at the front desk was rude and tried to keep our deposit over water bottles on the nightstand and towels in the floor. We paid to shower and sleep, and housekeeping is supposed to clean the rooms. We actually ended up trying to book one more night and was refused to check in Friday night and the hotel refused to refund the money. Hotels.com had to call to get our payment refunded. I usually like Comfort Suites, but this one is a joke. I’m sure corporate would fire some people if they saw how this entity is cleaned and operated!

It was a very nice hotel. will more than likely stay there again. It was very clean. The shower could have had a little more pressure and the a/c could've got a little colder but non the less a great place to stay.

The door to room 417 was hard to open I had to use a little force to open it and the the Queen size beds looks like a double or full size bed I will not stay there again

It's located in a very good area. Tons of food choices and shopping if needed. There's a movie theater right across the street. Different restaurants in 5 and 10 minutes of walking. I enjoyed my stay.

Half the lights in our room did not work. Also, there was trash in the trash can when we first entered the room.

The staff was in a conversation when we arrived and barely paid attention to us. The room was very nice except for the bathroom- there was only a light over the shower and there was no light near the mirror. There was some trash in the elevator and no utensils for the free breakfast. I think the hotel would be great with just a little more attention to detail.

Worth the stay
The staff is friendly. The pool was not heated so after 3 days of cold water we gave up. Very spacious rooms and good breakfast.
