It’s a nice hotel with a nice staff. But the property is in disrepair. The icemaker on the second floor has been broken for months and the equipment in the exercise room has been nonfunctional for more than a year! The TVs cable is hard to manage and old technology. The hotel needs updating badly!!

Our room was not vacuumed! We also booked a suite for 6 people, there was no linen for the pullout couch and towels for 4. They did bring linen right away but didn’t vacuum until late morning the next day. The breakfast was very good and honestly I feel the biggest problem was short staff.

Trash left under sofa-bed, from previous stay. Obvious maintenance issues in the bathroom. Peeling paint, drywall. Bathroom door loose. Issues brought to the attention of front desk personnel, who were unconcerned. Will NOT be staying again.

Not the best stay
When booking I requested an accessibility room. They informed me upon arriving they only had one room and that it was booked for the duration of my stay.The room that we were assigned had a step in tub and a very low toilet. Both my sister and I have knee issues and the room was not conducive to our issues. They tried to find a taller toilet but it only had one bed which was not happening.They brought a walker and a stool for the tub but neither helped. It took two days to get another box of tissues and a basket for the coffee maker. If we had known there was no handicap room we could have made a different choice.

We never once had anyone come in and clean our room, despite policy stating you had to request it UNLESS you stayed longer than 3 nights in which after the 3rd night the room would be cleaned. We stayed for 4 nights and never ONCE did anyone come in and clean. I had to keep track of my own trash AND had to remove my own linens and towels. The day I left they had JUST taken the towels and such but left the linens and trash sitting there. And I have a 16 month old so it’s HARD to keep her happy when she can barely run around because trash is piling up in grocery bags.

Overall, it was a great place for a weekend getaway. The hotel itself was actually very clean but the outside of the hotel needs some cleanliness. Hotel staff were all friendly. I think the only suggestion would be to have more lighting in the parking lot and around the building perhaps.

We booked and was hoping for the robust views from the 3rd story rooms but instead we saw the swimming pool. And the room we had even tho very clean and roomy, it was ajacent to the elevator, room 307. The elevator squeeked all night every time someone was using it. That made it hard to sleep and the tv was small and limited to a few channels to watch. But over all it was a great location for what we needed.

What is there for a football game in about a half hour from the stadium nice room. Very quiet. Perfect. After being at the game and tailgating all day.

Our room was noisy during the night, possibly from the elevator & equipment room which was on the other side of the wall behind our bed. The elevator cab was dirty during the 3 days we were there, and the equipment needed maintenance to correct the squeels, creeks, and other noise of operation. Our refrigerator had no way of adjusting the temperature, and the small freezer did not keep anything frozen. The 2 charges put on my credit card totaled significantly more than when I made the reservations, but they are still "pending", and the charge that appeared on the ticket when I checked out (not yet posted to my credit card) was correct.

I enjoyed the breakfast options. They had coffee and tea available during the day which was nice. Pool unfortunately was closed for the season. Elevator sounds like it needs servicing. Makes a squealing sound during the night. Not too loud but noticable.

The lady that works at night was amazing. Such a nice girl. We had an issue on our first night and she tried to resolve it quickly, when it couldn't be fixed she moved us to a new room that was still close to the rest of our family. The lady that worked at the breakfast area went above and beyond. Breakfast was great, rooms could use some updates but nothing bad. We had a wonderful 3 night stay. I would recommend. It also had a pretty view towards the back of the property.

The best thing about this stay is how comfortable the mattress feels. The worst part is I specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub, drove further and paid extra, just to find the hot tub closed.

The room wasn’t ready long pass check in time. The elevator was broken. We were on the 3rd floor and I was traveling with my special needs son and 90 year old mother. The front desk did move us due to the broken elevator. Apparently there was an electrical issue within the hotel but our room was good however a few outlets weren’t working. I felt sorry for the staff. A lot of people were complaining but they remain professional.

Woke up at midnight terrified because it sounded like someone was trying hard to get into our room. Then I see a screw driver come in trying to undo the safety latch. Then they realized someone was in the room and walked away. We thought someone was breaking into our room! The phone in our room didn’t work. So we had to go up front and found out upon check in there was a mixup. The room assigned at check in and on the key card wasn’t what they had in their system. It was a front desk worker trying to get into the room to give it to someone else due to the other person staying have a leak in their room. They did not offer any discount or anything? They terrified my elderly parents. It took us forever to fall asleep again. I stay in this area a few times a year and will not be staying again.
Some modern updates. Bathroom looks like the ceiling was falling apart. Room and breakfast were good.

First room was not locked and the bed looked like someone had laid on it. Dirty towels were in the hallways. Second room looked like surfaces had not been wiped down. No extra toliet paper. Beds not made well. Will not be staying here again.

When you put a sign on your bathroom mirror that says HOUSEKEEPING WILL NOT COME INTO YOUR ROOM UNLESS YOU STAY 3 NIGHTS;
you expect no one will come in your room -- and you leave your room differently than you would if you expect housekeeping.
I had a two night stay, I left for work the first morning and when I returned the bed was made and the room had been given a once over.
I commented to the woman on the front desk in the morning -- and she literally replied, "I am just the night auditor."
I said she represents the hotel and she could pass along the message; and she replies -- "It's new management, they're redoing everything -- and if you don't put out a 'Do Not Disturb,' sign, then your room will get serviced."
Now I am upset at the night auditor -- do not try making this my fault -- you literally have a sign in the room that says one thing -- and then you send people into my room against your own sign -- that is on you and your hotel.

Salem Stopover.
We have stayed here before and both times it was what we needed. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The area was good with a shopping center and restaurant down the hill. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights for business. While the price was right, and the rating was over 8, you get what you pay for with hotels. The room didn't have towels in it, I asked for some, never got them 20 minutes later. The air conditioner leaked on the floor causing the floor of the room to be wet, there was a bee's nest in the window when we tried to open it to dry the room out. Overall this hotel is just worn down overall.

Hotel is very old and run down. It is in great need of being refurbished. Our room had worn out carpet, everything was well worn and tired. There was a terrible odor when we turned on the heater so we turned it off. Bathroom floor was sticky and slimy. Never stayed at a Comfort Suites with this kind of experience. What was good? The staff upon arrival were lovely. The coffee was great. We arrived after midnight and left early the next morning. Not there long enough to complain. We just wanted a place to lay our head for the night.

Very pleasant, quiet stay
We found our room clean and pleasant, with a delightfully firm bed mattress, nice kitchenette, comfortable sofa & spacious desk, and a well supplied bathroom. There were loads of convenient electrical connections for laptops and phones on both sides of the bed and on the desk.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast provided good options and was plentiful. The back deck overlooking the pool & hot tub was very pleasant, and we sat outside for a bit on both evenings during our 2-night stay.
A couple of notes:
> The TV did not connect to cable when we tried it on the 2nd night of our stay.
> The bathroom had just one hook on the back of the door -- no other hooks, hanging rods, or anything on which to place wet towels or clothing.
> The bed pillows were "mushy" and did not provide any real support.
Overall, we were impressed with the property and the room, although some rug sections in the hallways were stained and looked a bit worn. We would return to this Comfort Inn and recommend it highly to others.

Where to start....There was no way to block the glare of five lights from a neighboring building. No shade on the window, no curtains you could close. I had to improvise using clips on the clothes hangers and the all our towels. Speaking of towels, there was a dirty one hanging on our our bathroom door. And the coffeemaker basket on our room was missing parts.

it's in walking distance to stores and restaurants. have stayed here several times it seems like it's going downhill. the bathroom floor was so slippery I had to use a towel to clean floor which was filthy. won't be staying here any more

Not the worst, but definitely not the best
The hotel has a weird smell like it's been flooded in the past, the staff is weird and sometimes have to wait 20-30 minutes before someone comes to the front desk. Breakfast is supposed to be included and served from 6am-9am but that is if the girl cooking shows up or not. 2 mornings I was there no breakfast as the front desk clerk states, "I have no clue where she is" as many people were wondering where breakfast is. Every day I had a note slid under my door stating there wouldn't be ANY housekeeping due to employee shortages, bathroom falling apart, 1 towel given to use.

The room itself was just ok- the bathroom had no seal around the base of the toilet and the shower had no curtain to keep water off the floor (it was fabric and the water passed right through it.) Worse, the condition of the hallways- we stayed on the 3rd floor and the carpet was ripped and smelled of mildew. Furthermore, the morning desk staffer was very rude when I asked for my receipt at check out. I guess she had a rough night. Furthermore, it was 10 minutes before breakfast was to start and she didn't even want to let me grab a banana! Will never stay here again.

We had stayed at a Comfort Inn near PHL airport that was way below our expectations. Good to know that was the exception and your facility confirmed Comfort Inn is still a good place to stay when traveling.

I would never suggest this hotel. After driving for hours we arrived and waited for at least 30 minutes for someone to show up. The girl said she was working alone and her friend Sierra was down in laundry. We finally get to pur room and nothing works. No light, tv etc Not even the phone. Go back down stairs, of course no one was there and wait again. She then shows up and gives us another room. Problems with that room as well. At checkout a woman who said her name was "Kim" apologized profusley and said she would refund 100.00. Call her if it doesnt show up on statement. Fast forward 2 weeks and am going round and round with them. Says nobody said that, blah,blah but she will get Kim to call me. They have been saying that. Have sinced fired girl who checked us in. Now they say I have to contact Expedia for a refund. Will never stay there but will definitely find out who owns it since they dont seem to know.

A lot of reasons it’s cheap to stay here
This hotel is in dire need of deep cleaning and updates. Our room featured large carpet stains, mattress stains, stained shower curtain, and non-working lamps. When we requested housekeeping the first day, it wasn’t done. When we asked for new towels, they didn’t have any. They do not provide washcloths.

The overall quality of this place has gone downhill. From the breakfast sandwiches they bring in from the grocery store for you to heat up in the microwave as their "hot" breakfast, to the hot tub/spa that doesn't heat up, for the orice they charge you're expecting more.

** BED BUGS DO NOT STAY HERE!!* I stayed from Friday night until Monday morning and my room was not serviced once! They would slip a paper under the door every morning saying service had to be requested by 9:00am. On Saturday I asked for service at 7:00am no one ever came. So on Sunday I requested twice, once when I went up for breakfast at 8:00am and then again right before 9 when I left out. Still nobody came, I had to request towels at the front desk of whatever remnants they had left. Towels were yellow from the bleaching, they don’t get thrown out. Trash built up in my room for 3 days because there was no visible trash can in the hallway or anywhere on the floor in view. There was trash in the nightstand from a previous guest, also trash under the bed. Upon packing up to leave a BEDBUG crawls across the sheet that my daughter and 3yr old granddaughter slept in. I took pics/video of it and immediately went to the front desk, to show them. I was told the manager wouldn’t be back until Wednesday and she would give me a call. The carpet has a sticky feeling to it when walked across it barefoot. When my granddaughter was given a bath her feet were literally black from walking around barefoot. When gathering things off the floor I noticed the bed skirt facing the wall had mucous on it! The elevator makes a loud boom sound when it takes off, makes you wonder do you even want to get on it again! This by far was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed.

Where to start… this property is simply “ok”. Needs a little TLC. Hallway carpets need cleaning. Especially on each floor, near the elevator. There were also three ice machines and two were out of order. The bathroom sink trained very slow. Shower curtain to small. HD TV not available. The room had a musty smell. Could not get the treadmill in the workout room to work. Breakfast, well, was lacking.
Property has potential. I could use a renovation.
