Old broken sink
The young Lady did her job, but could have been a bit more cordial. Smiling or at least a cheerful disposition.
We were highly disappointed with the cracked sink in the bathroom. You can see by the age cracks, it's been broken for a while.The room and bath were clean,however, the old baseboards, need updating.
This room should be removed from the rental list, until the sink can be replaced. All we did was brush out teeth.

Our stay was great. Super comfy and clean, it had everything we needed! Was conveniently within walking distance to multiple restaurants, and 5-10 minutes away from so many shops as well as the beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

first i want to say this review is based on my stay!
short and quick......john rowland desk clerk was very friendly and caring to hold a conversation with me, talked about football..
breakfast was ok. food can improve.
pool was closed (winter)
a lot of cigarette butts on the ground out side.
elevator was broke down.
3rd floor was out of service
seems like they had alot of problems.
nice tv size! 50in
all in all my stay was 7 out of 10

Convenient and comfortable
Great location, close to Isle of Palms. Lots of stores and restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Good breakfast. The hotel could use a refresh, since furniture, carpet, etc. shows wear and tear. Comfortable rooms, though.

This hotel was clean and the included breakfast was very good. I gave them 3 stars because the fire alarm went off atleast 5 times in the morning and there was no fire and it just kept going.

Perfect stop for one night. Lots of restaurants in the area. The location of the hotel is a little unique. In a small area with shops and bars. We went to Reds Ice House for dinner. Highly recommend for food, drinks and $.

The bed very uncomfortable and the smells from their harsh cleaners made me I’ll. Also only one elevator for everyone even housekeeping and it was shaky had just been fixed.

Love the Location
I love the location. Easy access off Hwy 17. Hotel was very clean. Very nice room arrangements. The only thing I did not like is the pillows. I do not like little pillows. Breakfast was okay. Food needed to be microwaved due to being served cold. But good food selection. I would definately stay again.

The hotel staff were superb and welcoming. The room was clean, orderly and well supplied. Location of the hotel is excellent close to IOP, tons of restaurants, shopping and dining, and plenty of parking. I would recommend the hotel to anyone! We have stayed here several times and never had a less than excellent trip.

Great location! We came to town for a concert at windjammer and close to shems creek ! Staff was friendly and room was clean. Breakfast was great as well Would definitely stay here again

Clean, staff very pleasant, clean towels and cleaned bathrooms and emptied trash daily. If you have never been there to this area everything is in quaint little shopping centers, street views are designed like false store fronts and you go into the driveway to enter the shopping and parking even large stores are hidden behind the shop fronts. Some times very hard to find things.

Excellent, except the elevators were out of order my entire three night stay. It didn't bother me. The hotel is only three floors. Beautiful, welcoming environment! Rooms very clean! The areas that matter to me were exceptional!

The sofa bed was uncomfortable
The sheets for the sofa bed which I had to obtain from the front desk had human hair on it.
The corridor carpets were spotty & filty.

The hotel and room were a bit dated, and the mini-fridge kept falling off it’s shelf. The air conditioner in the room was erratic, and one morning there didn’t seem to be hot water in the shower. The room was large and the breakfast was fine, though they did run out of coffee.

Liked location, options for shopping and dining nearby. Didnt like the hihg traffic trying to leave property. They need traffic lights. Was not impressed with front desk. Felt the front desk was just going thru the motions and didn't make us feel welcome or appreciated. Elevator needs maitenance. It wouldn't close for several minutes. Tie door kept opening and closing.

They gave us the wrong room. When they made the correction we waited over an hour to be told our correct room was having the air conditioner repaired, so we ended up staying in the wrong room anyway! The cleaning staff was riding the luggage carrier in elevator and garbage or laundry fell off the cart when the elevator opened. The cleaning product used was beyond strong and staff was rude.
The only positive was the breakfast and the gentleman working at breakfast.

Stay was great. Close to everything we wanted to do. Shopping, food (wish we would have ventured out a bit for better options but had nothing to do with hotel. We enjoyed the little walk), beach, dessert and pool. Everything was super clean. Lots of verity for breakfast and all the staff was friendly and welcoming with big smiles. Only issue was room had a musty smell we think because the air conditioner did not keep room cold but kept it comfortable after a sun burn and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. We did not mention the negative because the good definitely outweighed the minor negative. We were only there in the evenings for 2 nights. If our stay was longer, we would have had the air looked at. We also stayed on a holiday weekend but the hotel was very quit and we could see a beautiful fireworks show from our bed. It was great for us because our little one doesn't like the noise. And for a fully booked hotel parking was easy. Overall, we plan to stay again sooner then later!

I want my refund. They gave me a room that i was not comfortable staying. I asked for another room and Kathryn told me there were no more rooms available. I checked to see and there were 3 rooms available.

Pillows were uncomfortable. We had to buy pillows at Walmart. Rooms were shabby very outdated with peeling wallpaper . Bathroom was small. Hot water would not come on until 6:30 am. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent

It was pretty beat and in a strip mall with very loud late night bars and restaurants and large ground floor windows that faced this directly plus lots of loud screaming and running kids limited and lo quality breakfast food and the furniture was totally trashed. The saving grace was the bed was comfy and the tv had channels we like. And the size of the room was decent. It was a little farther out than we expected as well. I'd say it's an ok choice for a family with kiddies on a tight budget, but not for us

I’ve stayed at this location several times over the years. However, this last time was not the best stay. We had issues with ants in the bathroom, the mattress was extremely soft and clearly needed to be replaced, and I was hoping for a smart TV but all in all it is a good value and it is close to all the attractions that Charleston has to offer.

Our room smelled strongly of tobacco smoke and cleaners. The window was open when we checked in, presumably to air out the room. We had to leave the window open during most of our stay. And there was an indigent person sleeping in the hallway in the morning.

Would never go again to this hotel. it feels and looked like motel 6. Dirty and nasty everywhere. Outdated and old. no one is keeping up this property. Checking in and out was just not good due to unfriendly rude staff. No Hello, goodbye or thank you
they made me feel like they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there... i want my money back. This is just not ok.

Although this property is definitely outdated it had two very comfortable queen beds. It was in an extremely convenient area and it was quiet. We will come back for sure for a budget friendly room.

Lobby staff was extremely nice, thoughtful and polite. The halls, elevator and common areas old and dirty. My room and beds were comfortable but the faucet in the bathroom was broken, I couldn’t get a full stream of water.

A great location for visiting Mt Pleasant. Easy access to a major Interstate, Hwy, and beaches. Several food, dining options within a very short walking distance. The staff, very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained, bright and clean. Whenever I’m back in the Mt Pleasant area, it will be my hotel of choice.

Property is in need of some updating. Elevator (small) creaks and shudders when moving. Not enough lighting in room. Window curtains do not fully close and air conditioning unit is below the window, so the sheers are always blowing out, leaving the room visible to the outside.

Excellent staff
The staff was very helpful, especially a young lady named Katherine. She went out of her way to help me in so many ways. I am disabled and she made my stay wonderful. The breakfast staff was so friendly and the food was very good.
