I looked for a few hours over the internet for a place to stay in Seattle. We have been before and I wanted a better experience. This place ticked all the boxes, the staff was wonderful, the room was super nice, updated, view on the lake on the top floor. The parking was also perfect. I had booked a deal with parking and breakfast included.
The breakfast wasn’t a buffet but that was even better, you get to pick from the menu and I feel like there is less waste. The food was great!
I will definitely book there again. Walking to the museum and Space Needle was so quick too.

Bar was closed on a friday eve.
Your pillows are awful. We got extra and the extra ones were better. They didn't squash down to nothing. We ran into another couple in the elevator they had the same thought.
The phone in the room wasnt working.
The wall behind the TV has some kind of reddish liquid that splashed on the wall.

Amazing Hotel !!!
We had to get a hotel quickly because our tent for camping broke on our trip. The staff was friendly and quickly accommodated us. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

The front desk clerk Mosjh(sp) had a snobby demeanor! It was unpleasant interacting with him. He treated us as if we were beneath him and as if it was exhausting for him to be in our presence. He questioned why we were there in the first place. He offered a complimentary breakfast when we checked in and when we asked him about it the next day he treated us as if we were begging for a handout.
We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and often choose the Marriott because we can expect a certain experience. This stay did not meet our expectations at all. This stay was the 1st time our 11 year old son was old enough to remember the stay. The fact that this desk clerk chose to behave this way in front of our son compounded our displeasure.

During check in Jacob was cordial, ensured room needs were met and provided additional map drawing of port parking where we had reservations for leaving car during our Alaska Cruise. There did not appear to be restaurants in the surrounding area so we had a light dinner on the premises. No microwave or hair blowers in room. Room was large and exceptionally clean with a desk chair and couch. No internal or external noise to disturb our stay. We would stay here again if ever in the Seattle area.

I thought this hotel was great and in a nice location close to South Lake Union Park and the Seattle Museum of History and Industry. Also close to the Streetcar line and Rapid Ride C-Line into downtown Seattle. The hotel has great and safe parking. Staff were friendly, breakfasts good. If views are your preference, I would recommend "Lake Views" on floors 5, 6, 7. Our room on floor 3 wasn't quite high enough for a great view. Floor 4 might be OK, but I am sure that 5, 6, and 7 would be quite wonderful. As with most hotels, room cleaning has been cut back to every other day which is sad. You need to ask for extra complimentary tea and decaf coffee as well but this was otherwise a great and comfortable hotel and recommended.

Gorgeous lake views in a modern Marriott property
Stayed mostly downtown on previous business trips, but the Courtyard will be my go to hotel moving forward. Modern lobby with a Starbucks café and a mini-supermarket for essentials and snacks, very comfy and spacious room with wonderful lake views….waking up to the sunrise over South Lake Union cures even the worst jetlag! Highly recommend!

I booked this hotel through expedia and had the king with sofa room with a lake union view but when I got there the view was more like the street and the lake view at the 3rd floor was more like non existent. It was not worth the price for sure so maybe next time I will try to ask for rooms above the 5 floor. I wonder if is it because I used Expedia to book the room? Hmmm I wonder

Short stay in Seattle
We've stayed at this hotel about 8-9 years ago and the hotel and its staff are still very good. Room was spacious and clean, there was alway parking available in the basement parking lot, breakfast was prepared to order and tasty and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend revising the way guests queue up for counter assistance. Twice while I was in line a staff member came to the counter to help and instead of helping the next guest whoever was closest to the new staff member got served. While a mild inconvenience addressing this issue would be an improvement over existing procedures. Jacob and your new assistant manager whose name I didn't get are assets to your team and should be commended for their high level of service.

Food in cafe was mediocre but service was very good. Roomy and clean gym. Relatively quiet room with nice view of the lake. Bath/bar area in room a bit tight on space. Would stay here again.

The room I got was not as advertised. I reported that to the front desk and they mentioned the advertising is wrong and they were apologetic. As a result of this we were supposed to get free parking and complimentary which did not end up happening. Pretty disappointing that was not followed through, we had to pay for breakfast and parking to the time of nearly 100 dollars

Wifi was terrible.
The ticket machine at the parking garage was located such that you couldn't operate it from your car upon leaving. It also didn't work the 3 times we used it and we had to notify the front desk to let us out.
The front desk staff were not informed about the lobby bathroom code, wifi usage, or the parking garage. Their attitude was also one of boredom and surliness.

Generally a good stay. Location by Kenmore air is outstanding. Walkable to a variety of restaurants. TV Turing on in the middle of the night by itself (?) was not a favorite, and the area is on the edge of less desirable sections of town.

This Marriot excels in customer service...the staff is polite, they smile, have confidence when answering questions...I'm not saying a few, but all the employees I came in contact over our four day stay.
A deep cleaning should be done; baseboards, corners, television cables, shampoo carpets, etc.
The one thing the was almost a "deal breaker" especially for a married couple in their seventies...coffee packets every other day..."ouch" (smirk emoji).

False advertisement on the website shows a swimming pool and don’t have one. Parking is extra 50.00 outrageous, no microwave plus the showers was super dirty hairs everywhere. I would like a customer service to give me a call please. Thank you!

This is DEFINITELY a 5-Star Hotel. The entire encounter we had, has started our honeymoon on a fabulous journey.
The Concierge was polite, helpful & very accommodating.
The hotel room was clean & comfortable.
The food was AMAZING, in fact, the woman who cooked my steak has incredible talent. It was her FIRST week on the job, yet, that steak was cooked to PURRRFECTION, better than how I ordered it. I gave her a $20 tip, just for that amazing experience.
We're from Hawai'i, yet, this Hotel truly embodies the Aloha Spirit in Seattle. I hope EVERYONE who reads this will come stay at this hotel, when in Seattle. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
A major plus, is the District location! Everything you need is nearby & close proximity to Pike's Markey, the Space Needle & Pier 91 for our Cruiseship.

This is a lovely Courtyard, located right down by the water. It is scrupulously clean and updated. The room is modern and spacious. There is road noise however, those sensitive might ask for a higher floor (we were on the second floor.) The small restaurant in the lobby is good for quick meals, staff are very friendly and attentive.

It’s a great place to stay. Across from the lake and restaurants. I stayed in September and just now in May. The bartender remembered me and my cocktail of choice. First visit was a big Mariners playoff so we chatted a lot. I think that’s why he remembers me. But nice to feel that personal vibe.
The only coffe outside the room is a Starbucks/restaurant. You have to wait forever for a coffee as 2 people work it. And they take breakfast orders. So if you want a quick coffee walk 2 blocks to the coffee shop. For the price they should offer a coffee bar for free. I needed a quick cup and stood in a line of 10 people for 15 min because one person makes the order at a time.
Parking is confusing. You get a ticket and have it stamped and are supposed to use it the whole stay but the machines never read it.
Other than coffee and parking it’s my favorite place.

Customer service wasn’t the friendliness. They charged us a parking fee when we didn’t even park in their facility. Had to drive back to hotel after check out to ensure they were not charging us other random charges.
