This hotel is fantastic. Clean, well located near airport (you will hear some planes). You will get charged for parking. The pool is fantastic (warm in the winter).

The airport shuttle service was great both ways. A bit of a wait at the airport upon arriving in MIA but great service overall. The hotel staff is very friendly.
The hotel itself is clean but very dated. It definitely needs some TLC. A little disappointing for a Marriott hotel.

It was pretty basic. I didn't like that the staff had a drunk person when we checked in the evening.
I didn't like that the bathtub was dirty. The carpets can use a deep clean. It didnt seem clean at all. I won't stay there again.

Excellent stay at Courtyard Doral
We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and our experience was great.
Everything at this hotel was top notch. From facilities to the service provided by the staff members was exceptional.
We were allowed to check out a bit late (as a new years gift)as our flight time changed.
If i was to sum up my experience in one word then it would be fabulous!

When I arrived at the airport I called the hotel and they said they were on the way . It's a 20 minute drive from the hotel to the airport . 1 hour and 45 minutes later they finally showed up . The hotel offered to take me to the City Plaza to eat and they said just call and we'll come pick you up, when I called they said they had other things going on they couldn't come pick me up and it was a 45 minute walk back to the hotel.

We ecently stayed at Courtyard Miami Airport West/Doral, and it turned out to be a series of frustrating and disappointing experiences, starting from the online check-in to the breakfast service. The initial trouble began with the online check-in process. The link provided by the hotel simply didn't work, negating the convenience this feature usually offers. This issue set a precedent for what was to come. Upon arriving at Miami Airport, we expected a smooth courtesy coach service for our transfer to the hotel. Contrarily, it required several follow-up calls and the coach arrived significantly late, especially inconvenient given our midnight arrival. One would expect better coordination and timeliness for airport transfers, a basic service by a hotel in a major city like Miami. Adding to our woes, upon reaching the hotel, the staff seemed utterly unaware of our booking. Despite having a confirmation from Expedia, the hotel couldn't recognize our reservation. The confusion and lack of communication between the hotel and Expedia were not only inconvenient but also left us feeling stranded in the middle of the night.
The next morning, the breakfast experience further contributed to our disappointment. With only one or two staff members serving made-to-order breakfast, the service was extremely slow. Considering the high room rates and additional charges for breakfast, this was unacceptable. The breakfast options were not only limited but also lacked the variety one would expect.

The room and bathroom were very clean. Location was good. My arrival was awesome- very stressful jorney in and i easmet witha BIG SMILE and positivity. It completely changed my attitude and reminded me of choosing happiness.

What we most like is that the hotel is close to many amenities. The Hotel will need to upgrade some of the facilities on the rooms, like AC and bathrooms.

We moved to this hotel after a terrible experience. Totally loved it and finally had time to relax. Room was perfect for size. The halls were smelled really nice. Bed was comfy. And everything was clean! Def would go back there if we make another trip. Recommend it to everyone.

Stayed here for a quick overnight flight layover. They only have 1 shuttle & driver so we had about an hour wait for pick up. Just one person working at the counter too, so luckily we were the 1st ones to check in. Ended up only having about 6 hours here, rooms aren't sound proofed at all so you can hear lots of road noise. Ac unit was very loud too but worked well & tge bed was comfy. Had to schedule an Uber for our 4 am drop off the next day since their 1st shuttle is 7:30, so kibda defeeated the purpose of paying more to stay here for the 24 hour shuttle.

Stayed for two weeks and overall the stay was nice..all of the staff was lovely..drivers,housekeeping and front desk. All of the details were not included on the booking website..for instance the $50 a day incidental fee charged at the beginning of your stay and housekeeping was everyday even though it said every other day on the website. No microwave in the room but there is a communal one in the lobby. Otherwise ammenities promised in the room were provided. All in all ...I would stay here again.

Overall, the stay was acceptable. Nothing outstanding, and nothing really lacking. The one area that I was surprised by was the "pay" for parking which was not explained at check in. Parking is a necessity, but it typically is included in the cost of the booking.

It was nice and by the end of the trip I didn’t want to leave. It was close enough to the things I was interested in seeing like City Place Doral and Doral Yard. Glad I got out of my comfort zone to try something new.

The room was dirty looking with a very bad smell from the carpet and there was stained bedding - washed but stained; The front desk staff were professional and moved us to another room without issue. The second room had better bedding and the smell from the carpet was improved only slightly. I have stayed at this brand hotel in several cities and was very surprised at how outdated the room was. The only way to get rid of that smell is to get rid of that very old carpet. Hopefully they do soon - could never stay here again unless it was renovated.

Not up to Marriott Standards
The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. However, the ant problem is not. The property would do good with a makeover and cleaned to Marriott standards. The comfort of the beds differed as one had more cushion than the other. The sleeper sofa was missing cushions and the overall feel felt like a motel rather than a Marriott hotel. I am a long time customer & will always stay at Marriotts. So do not take this as a bad review just an opportunity to make this location a bit more comfortable.

Look door stopped working the day we had to check out. it took 1 hour until a maintenance person came and opened the door for us. Toilet needed about 2 or 3 flushes just to flush liquids!

Excellent and friendly staff. Had rooms available before checkin time and were very willing to check us in without any additional cost. Room clean and with all accommodations except a safe. Only negative thing is that they had exterior labor done (painting and fixing up) that should have been informed in page.
