Putting aside the fact that the property is going through a face lift, the property is clean. The staff is professional and polite. The food prepared at the cafe is very good. I am a return customer and I will return again the next time I am in the area.

We were very pleased with our stay, the front entrance was being worked on when we arrived and there was no breakfest included. But a great breakfest place next door. It is directly on 17 north next to the metro station , so traffic noise , if you opened your patio door. But otherwise super happy with our stay

It was very clean and was clearly just renovated. But there was a loud noise not sure what it was that went on until about 11:30 12 am made it hard to sleep. But the room was nice.

The construction noise directly under our bedroom window was terrible. I understand uptdating but don't put guests in rooms near those areas... Very dissappointing 40th anniversary stay.

I liked that I was able to get a room with handicap bars in the bathroom and the door was wide to accommodate my mom's rollator at no extra cost.
I loved the individual conversation pits with TV! Great place to meet/chat with visiting friends.
The outdoor conversation pits were fantastic, too! I wish the weather had been cooler in the evening to use the rock fire pit (maybe next time).
I was very disappointed that the continental breakfast was not available and no mention that is was unavailable due to renovation going on. This was one of the primary reasons I chose this hotel. It would have been thoughtful to offer discount prices at there limited breakfast food selections at their bistro for this inconvenience or comp a few basic breakfast items, i.e., coffee, tea, toast, bagel, and/or a piece of fruit.
Hotel description stated a hot tub but there was none. The pool was nice but just 3-4' deep.
Sadly, none of the other entrances to the hotel had ADA
door capabilities; only the main entrance. I had to help multiple elderly guests by holding the door open.
Courtesy drinking cups and plastic utensils were not stocked very well in the lobby area.
Lastly, the patio furniture on the room landing were nice but the groundskeeper should check that they aren't wobbly or teeter; mine were. This is unsafe to have unstable patio furniture for a room for handicapped guests.

My mistake for not reading the full details about the property… it is under renovation. Not all amenities and services were available but the beds were very comfortable and we only needed a one night stay.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this property when moving our daughter in at GCU. It is a very clean hotel and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. This trip o was disappointed in the room. I reserved 2 queen beds and upon check in was given 2 doubles. As they were full, we could not exchange. I still appreciate the facility and staff

Our room was very clean and looked newly renovated. There are some renovations going on near the lobby. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We are planning another trip and will be booking with Courtyard at Marriott.

Solo Mother's Day Weekend
The resort has a beautiful bug water fountain near the pool. The sounds are amazing, lots if iakm trees, flowers, two jacuzzi tubs. Swim up bar. A little dated, but it truly looked like Phoenix landscape. The poolside drinks and ceviche was great.

Phoenix choice!
Our stay was short, visiting family, and this Marriott has been our first choice due to it's convenient location, nice rooms and Starbucks in the lobby. We will stay here in the future.

Decent but not worth the price
Outside was clean and lobby was nice. Staff was rude!! I was charged $200 (an extra 100$ Than the usual) for deposit because I used hotels.com to make my reservation.
Got to my room and it smelled like a wet dog, so I bought air freshener at the store to help. The bed was too firm and uncomfortable, the couch was scratchy and stained. Fridge barely worked, no microwave in the room even though it listed one on my room amenities. Patio area was nice has a courtyard view.

Overall everything was nice. It’s very secure, and the lobby area is quite nice. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a challenge for me, with my neck pain. The couch and ottoman were nice, but I feel like they needed deep pillows. Plenty of space to unpack everything, and the shower was amazing! I loved the convenience of having pump-style hair and bath products built in to the shower. Having a balcony was really nice, especially in the mornings. A few negatives though, but these things can easily be fixed. The AC unit rattled and was quite noisy, and the toilet paper was like sandpaper.

I was not advised of the major road construction next to the property and outside the room I was given.
Construction started early and loudly at 630am
I had specifically requested a quiet room and checked in early enough to have a choice.
Property is becoming dated
Windows do not seal for soundproofing and the air conditioning made loud noises when operating

Family weekend
My stay was ok, atmosphere was good people were overall friendly. My only complaints were there was no microwave in the room even tho the website said there would be. I could have requested one but we wound up not needing it. My other complaint was the very slow drain in the sink. Toilet flushed fine and the tub drained fine as well but the sink was sloooowwww. I did let the front desk know. It was a minor inconvenience but overall I would stay here again

This hotel was FINE, definetely not the 8.2 rating it had when I went. The bar/restaurant had weird hours and was never open or closed early. You had go give them 24 hours notice if you wanted your room cleaned, and even then they missed it and our room was left uncleaned. Its not dirty or gross or anything, just really aggressively FINE. ALSO - this neighborhood is pretty rough so heads up!

Nice Clean and friendly staff
I was very happy with this hotel. Beds were very comfortable, pillow's amazing, room very clean. Plenty of room for two. The food options are limited but diner was decent, breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. I was extremally happy to get an early check in too, after driving for 3+ hours it was nice to relax upon arrival

I have stayed at this property before, but more than likely I would not stay again unless I was really in a pinch.
Front Desk staff was nice and accomodating throughout my stay.
The area is known for the Homeless and Drug issues. Since this was my second trip to the area, I definitely see more and are aware more of these issues.
There are panhandlers are both ends of the Interstate sections by the hotel.
If you read the reviews from the surrounding hotels, the same issues are noted.
There were several times the smell of Drugs was quite overwhelming in the hallways.
One morning a guest encountered a thief from the streets trying to steal their backpack from the breakfast area.
If it's an option, drive a few more minutes North to the Deer Valley/Happy Valley area.

I would rate this property excellent, except that the mattress was a bit soft. It probably needed to be changed out or at least flipped over. Everything else was excellent - the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, the room itself, the noise level was low, and even housekeeping gets an excellent mark. I was very pleased with my stay here and I would definitely return.

The bed was very comfortable. I really liked that the TV system has the Dish network plus we could log into our own services. The staff was helpful and I also like that the restaurant areas had cubbies with TVs and their own remote control. So you could have your own personalized television experience while eating. Very nice touch.

It’s a nice hotel with nice hotel staff. The beds were so comfortable and the room was nice and clean. I loved that they had bigger shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles attached to the shower wall. It was so convenient because I forgot my own bottles. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Its close to the shopping center and restaurants but its not a safe area. theres no fan in the bathroom and no freezer in a refrigerator. carpet wasnt clean. stuffs was nice.

I loved the courtyard concept. Sun, heated pool, fire pit. It was quiet and relaxing. The room was a little noisy from people in the hall and next door.
