I’ve stayed here twice in the last year for surgeries in Oakbrook and boy do I love it here. We stayed in a suite this time around and it was so roomy! The bathrooms are updated, the bed is super comfy and the pool and hot tub are one of the better ones. The staff is great and super friendly - they have a convenient area where they have drinks and snacks and the lobby is very inviting. The only con would be the suite didn’t have 2 TVs like the picture or a king size bed like it said - it was a queen which is fine but not as advertised. Or maybe it was a king, but it felt very small? Either way, if I have to go back, I will always come back here.

Room was nice enough, although the toilet was the shortest I have ever seen, somewhat difficult to navigate.
Amenities were good, indoor pool and hotub and a nice workout area with treadmills, free weights, stair stepper etc.
The lounge/bar and Bistro were very good, we had dinner at the Bistro one night - Bistro Burger and fries were quite good; breakfast choices were similar to a diner menu and also good. Everything is al a cart so can be alittle costly but is very convenient if you don't want to venture out.

Check-in and checkout was easy and simple. Walls are thin so we could easily hear next door neighbors. Bathroom was in pretty good condition. Bed was really comfy and the room seemed clean enough. Overall, stay was good.

Elizabeth was friendly when she checked us in. The beds are comfy like all Marriotts are known for. However, the facility should be updated. The ceiling in the room and the edges of the door were peeling. The water pressure could be improved. Was disappointed I couldn't watch WGN due to the lack of channels. The staff was great, but overall the hotel/room needs work.

Everything was good except the pool area. For an indoor pool the water was cold and the hot tub was even colder. Also as soon as you walk in it’s sooo hot. We had to leave without even going in the water.

Air conditioning quit on 3rd night of stay & had to move to another room. Beds in both rooms were strange- foot end of bed is higher than head end. Beds also noisy- shifting position caused sinking accompanied by a sound like a cardboard box being crushed. Elevators are balky & I reported one as out of order. However, despite my complaints, the staff remained very courteous & quick to respond and they are to be commended.

Overall decent stay for the money. For someone who travels a lot for business, I am not one to ask for much.
I inquired at the front desk on my third day about when housekeeping will stop by the room. Came back that night to the room the same it was.
Next morning, stopped at the desk again. Was apologized too and told again the room would be taking care of. Came back again to the room same as it was.
Left the hotel this morning with our seeing anyone at the desk to speak to in person.
Icing on the cake (pun intended), the lobby bathroom was absolutely disgusting after a guest left their “mark”.
Decent place for the money but housekeeping and scheduling need serious help.

A staff member at the front desk, Wanda, was very responsive to my needs. She changed my room immediately due to the noise of the guests in the adjoining room. She was gracious and efficient.

I booked 2 rooms and requested them to be ajoining 2 weeks prior to my arrival date and was told a note would be put in the system. When I checked in I was told there were no ajoining rooms available. I was thankfully able to contact Expedia for a refund on the second room but that was frustrating.
Then, I wasn’t impressed by the cleanliness. The first room we were put it, the let out sofa bed was NASTY with food and stains on it. We were moved to another room and it was okay but when the room was cleaned the next day they left glasses and trash in the room.
This place can use some overall update training in all aspects.
It’s in a convenient area for what I needed though so that’s a positive.

This hotel is great. The picture of safari land was misleading. It was not part of the hotel just another business close by. The pool was wonderful and very big. My kids loved it and the hot tub.

Disappointed that I booked a king bed and was told Travelocity customers get what was left at time of check-in, so received two full beds instead. I would have booked elsewhere if I was aware I would not receive the room type I booked.

I have not stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Elmhurst in many years but I was pleasantly surprised to find it still a superb place to stay. Great for work or family or girls weekends.

No daily room cleaning, or towel service-kinda remnant of by-gone pandemic era. You can request towels, but no room refreshment on daily basis. Otherwise very good rooms, clean common areas, oversized parking lit, free parking. Coffee shop/restaurant serves good starbucks coffee and breakfast goodies-not too expensive. Overall, pleasant stay.

It's not my first time here in fact I think I've stayed 6 or 7 times.. Elevators broke 3 to be exact.. Ice makers on only 2 floors.. The courtyard had cigarette butts and Roach ends from Weed Smokers, it was very hot in the hallways, The pool is nice and location is nice for what I need it for.. I think it's pretty expensive also.

Great hotel in a great area.
My first time staying out in Illinois and this hotel was no disappointment. The room was exactly as advertised and looked just like the picture. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was in a great area with plenty of food and entertainment options! Will definitely come again if I'm in the area!

What Potential!
Forced air conditioning was MOST FORCEFUL. The forced air air conditioning was very strong. This is most uncomfortable when naked. The temperature was adjustable, just not the forced air. Also, please have an ice machine on each floor. I was so very exhausted. All I wanted was a cold drink. I had to get ICE from ANOTHER FLOOR!

Property was hard to get to. Had to go thru a parking lot , not
owned by the Courtyard , that had huge speed bumps. I had to go like 1 mph to go over them to not damage my car.

The staff was excellent! However, our shower and refrigerator didn’t work. We had to get a different room around 10:30 at night. The shower in the new room was wrong. The hot/cold water faucet was backwards. You had to turn it to cold in order to get hot water. There aren’t any microwaves in the room.

Few things that could be improved..
The access to hotel is iffy.. the gps took me via a rundown strip mall kind with bad roads.
The Starbucks coffee bar had untrained staff who were trying to figure out how to make a coffee from the machine. Better to stay away from it.

I followed the review ratings and was disappointed
The entrance to the hotel and welcome area is very nice. The elevators up to your room are down right scary. They shake while moving, slow, and sound terrible. The elevators at the back of the hotel are closed. My room was ok. I was supposed to have a king bed but got placed in a double bed room. The ceiling tiles in the closet were falling out so I could not hang my clothes. The bed was not comfortable either. Lastly, when I showered the water wouldn’t drain. Definitely could use some improvements.

I’m annoyed the hotel let us purchase a $25 for two breakfast when I was thinking it would be a real breakfast. All they had was a tiny snack bar with muffins and such. One item for each person. Would have been cheaper for us to not buy the breakfast. Scam!

The hot tub was not operational. That was highly disappointing for me. The place is very nice inside otherwise. The parking lot was pretty tore up. It was quite noisy with the high traffic noise and the walls were very thin. I heard the TV next door and snoring through the walls all night. The location was good with nice restaurants across the road.

The property had been renovated and was super nice....very spacious for us adults to gather in the 2nd floor lobby!! Loved the updates and very clean! Staff was very helpful and friendly with us and our sons basketball team! Many memories were made and you all were part of that with our stay! Thank you!!!

Disappointing
After reading reviews about elevators not working I inquired about them due to back pain. I got a room on the first floor, which was nice of them. I was SO looking forward to taking a relaxing bath, Unfortunately I saw no bathtub!! That bath was the #1 reason I got the room. Maybe it changed when I was switched to the first floor, but I knew I couldn't move to a new room even if available. That was just the first of many disappointments. Next I decided to at least have a cold drink. I went in search of ice- and saw the sign saying that the machines are only on floors 3+ so I went on the elevator, walked to the end of the hallway only to find the ice machine with a sign that it wasn't working. By then my back was too tired to deal with anything else, so I made it back down to my room. I brought my own food for dinner... and then noticed there was no microwave. I have always stayed places where a microwave was a given in any room. I didn't even think to check first. I did call the front desk and found out there was a microwave down there and that I could get ice there too, but I was just done...soon after arriving. I had some snack food and warm drinks for dinner. I certainly wasn't going to go to the hotel restaurant and spend more money! The tiny fridge held a few things, but I threw them out because they felt warm by the next day. The air unit was so loud that it made me jump when it went on and I had to turn the tv way up to hear it over the air. I wouldn't recommend it.

Renovated Modern Hotel
Really nice, updated hotel. Depending on what direction you are coming from, a bit strange getting to hotel. Once arrived, walked into a newly renovated good looking hotel lobby. Front desk was busy, but service was good and informed. Gave details on room, amenities, times for cafe, etc. Nice sitting area, didn’t try cafe but maybe next time. Room was updated as well, clean, comfy bed, fridge, microwave. Really pleased. The only ask is maybe updated TVs. Other than that, great stay in a clean updated hotel at a steal of a price.

I stayed at this hotel in November for several days. The elevator was out of service then, and it still out of service now. The ice machine was out of service then, and still out of service now. Very disappointed about the limited meal service. We arrive during an ice storm, and really didn’t want to go out for food. I would suggest you do a grab and go sandwich box like they do at the Hilton‘s. The parking lot was very icy, but more importantly the sidewalks were not salted at all. We stay here quite often because it’s close to our family. The front desk people are always quite friendly and the hotel is always clean.

Nice Hotel with Problems
This is a hotel with a few problems...
It's located in a difficult to get to place. Coming south on 83 is easy, any other direction and you're going thru the parking lot of Goodwill, which is in terrible condition.
It has great views of the Salt Creek walking trail, but you have to either go thru the woods or walk down a road with no sidewalk to get there. And there's nothing else you can really walk to without having to cross North Avenue or 83, both of which are 4-6 lanes.
The physical plant, despite the "recently remodeled" sign is aging. Hot tub not working. Condensation on the windows (room 508). Very loud HVAC fan. Trim rusting. Hot water takes forever on the 5th floor.
All that said, the staff was very nice. And we had a good stay and, since its the only hotel within 2 miles of our kids, will probably stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful! BUT our flight was cancelled and our plans changed and the general manager said it was ok to only stay 1 night instead of 2 and let Expedia know. Expedia denied the refund.

Pool was big and great area. Water bit cool. Whirlpool not HOT tub so do not expect hotter water. Clean and fun though. Rooms nice and bed comfortable. Good sleep. Parking ok , entrance bit of a jumble. Good value.

Great hotel- very clean and modern and the rooms are immaculate. Only downside is it’s off route 83 so it’s tricky to get into and to get out you have very fast cars. Otherwise, location to food and shops and Elmhurst is great!
