Overall room was nice and spacious! The cleanliness of the lobby could of been better. The floors were dirty and the elevator floor had spilled coffee on it for 2 days. We asked for our valet car to be ready by 3:30 and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. They also charged my daughter $2 for one fun dip. She was told that they can makeup the prices.

The only thing I did not like was having to park away from the hotel. I did not see anywhwere before booking where they had mentioned parking was not available at the hotel. They are renovating their parking area/garage and you must park a street down. They do have free valet.

The room was cold, and there were no instructions for how to control the temperature. There was no listing of services, amenities, etc. in the room or on the TV. I had no idea where to get coffee, find vending, etc. What happened to the binder of facts about the hotel as well as area restaurants, etc?

Service with a frown
When we checked in, they really struggled with accessing the reservation we made through Hotels.com. Even though we had already paid for our stay they insisted we hadn't, and once they had been shown proof that we had, were very short and snippy with us about how in the future we should call them directly to get a better price instead of going through a website. We had to use valet as the parking garage is closed to visitors due to construction. The wait to get our car back upon checkout was quite long, and our car had actually been sitting out in the front entry area for a long time before they told us it was ready, only admitting it had been there for 10+ minutes when we asked if it was difficult to get to where it had been parked.
The pool was fun for the kids and the breakfast buffet had a lot of options, though the food got cold very quickly with the AC on so high in the dining area. The dinner menu was mostly southern food and the service in the restaurant was slow, but friendly.

Family friendly! Wonderful hotel, staff was professional and caring. Restaurant had delicious food. Pool is heated, kids had so much fun. Our room was clean and very nice. We had a terrific experience and would highly recommend.

The shower knob was loose and hardly any water came out so couldn’t wash my hair. I reported it and hopefully it will be adjusted..too many people too rough handling it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A lot of the other reviews will talk about the parking situation so I won't go over that again here. The rest of our visit was very enjoyable though. Able to breeze through check-in and get up to our room which had a nice view of the town. The room (King Suite w/ pull out couch) was very spacious and clean when we got in and had a nice little kitchenette with a fridge which turned out to be perfect for our leftovers later on. No issues with the beds, both of them were very comfortable. The only issue that did come up was the chain for the toilet flapper broke. However a call to the desk brought someone up who fixed it for us. We didn't dine in the restaurant but the breakfast buffet the next morning was very very good. Lots of different options and was constantly being refilled. Check out was just as easy as check in and left very happy. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

The hotel is convenient and about what one expects from the brand and the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The only on-premise breakfast option is a third-party restaurant with a buffet for $13. The buffet food was awful, cold and tasteless.

1. Parking garage was closed. No Shuttle service from the auxilllary parking to main lobby. Free valet service tho i wouldn't trust them. 2. This was a 12 floor hotel. We were in a room on second floor (204) next to pool area with no signs directing us to our room until we found the pool area door indicating the rooms. We had to use the STAIRS with our luggage to found our room. 3. Room size was small in my estimation for a King size bed. 4. Expensive $389 for a night stay through Expedia. For the troubles we went through for this I'd recommend dealing with the hotel DIRECTLY before booking any rooms at this Holiday Inn via Expedia. Good luck.

I was not told that this was under renovation, some of the staff was rude, and I was not told that there was no on site parking. Building smelled moldy and like urine. Def was not happy with this hotel and will never stay there again

To list most annoying factors: Rusty water from shower, water collected in the tub and didn’t go down even in the morning, someone’s hair on the wall in the shower area…. And some more. But they offered some compensation at check-out. One plus- beds were comfortable.

The valet was super nice and very attentive. The front desk attendant could not find my reservation. After waiting almost 10 minutes the manager came over and swiftly assisted, finding my reservation. The room was clean and quiet. While I wish self-parking was available, the valet service was prompt and accommodating.

While this property was in a central location to various points with the local grocery store (Big Y) only a block away. The negative point was the fact that the parking facility under construction and there was no directions/instructions for alternative parking. The first night there was Valet Parking but subsequent days required self parking which was inconvenient due to snow storm and having to walk in the elements. Nothing horrible but created small gridlock at the entrance. Rooms and common area were clean. Bed was very comfortable. Negative regarding the TV Guide Menu wasn't working, gave no channel info, and once a channel was selected, signal kept going in and out with screen going black. Overall, clean and comfortable.

A Nice Place to Stay
All in all, a nice refresh to this hotel. The parking garage is closed and is in need of major repair so parking is off-site. There is free valet parking during the busiest hours of the day. The restaurant provided delicious dinners with cocktails during our two night stay. The pool was being enjoyed by many in the hotel.

The rooms were nice but the hotel isn’t staffed for when it is busy. The restaurant doesn’t have enough seats and food was slow. Parking is not easy. The hotel parking building is “closed” presumably because it is unsafe. The open parking lot is an icy block away in winter and the free valet has limited hours and is slow.

With the garage under construction I left my car with valet. They were really pleasant in spite of being super busy so it was a very nice combination. The check-in staff was quick to welcome me and very nice.

Very short staffed though they tried their best to be accommodating. Parking difficult with garage closed and lot down the street. Suite worked well for our family of 5 but bathroom very tight and kitchen area lacked some basic supplies. Conveniently located to Jiminy Peak.

We booked this hotel for use of the pool with the kids. You couldn’t use because there must have been a crack in the roof because it was freezing and breezy like you were in a wind tunnel. Also the parking garage is out of commission and you have to go around the block to park your car.

The room was very spacious, more than we expected, the staff was friendly and courteous. But the parking garage was under construction and as soon as we got off the elevator there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be a non/smoking hotel, my children were bothered by the smell. We tried to call the front desk and there was no answer on multiple attempts. Homeless people outside of the hotel and surrounding area.

This property has SO MUCH potential that has not been tapped into. The mid-century building seems tired and uncared for. The parking garage was "under repair" but we saw no evidence that work was being done. The lobby furniture needs work (major work). It was sad, because I used to sell mid-century furniture and what I saw was a joke.

Booked this property specifically for the hot tub. When we arrived we found out the parking garage was unusable. Basically had to park about half mile away in a parking lot littered with dog poop bags, beer bottles and used condoms. The room was decent but the shower door was broken and barely operational. The shower knob also did not work properly. Went to use the hot tub only to find it was boarded up. Told front desk and they said there is nothing they could do.

Nice high-rise hotel, which hopefully will begin some cosmetic renovations soon. However, more importantly is the level of service, which may be a victim of understaffing. The dining room personnel were wonderful, but really overworked. The food is very good! Breakfast was disappointing because items were depleted and the coffee was gone by 7:30AM. When I told staff as I paid my bill the response was to laugh. I paid a lot for not much on my plate and a glass of water. My room was large, with an easy chair provided and a nice view over the city. I think. Window-washing is not a priority.

Our room is nice and clean, but one of the walls was peeling off from the structure of the room. I could tell that the hotel was trying to achieve a certain quality of cleanliness during the pandemic, and that part was much to our satisfaction. When we arrived at the hotel, one of the staff was not friendly when we asked about parking, but overall, we are satisfied with our stay.

Nice room & staff, but poor breakfast
Pros: Front desk staff was excellent and room was clean and modern. Bathroom was a little tight, but not a problem.
Cons: The hotel's parking garage was closed for repairs, but we observed no work being done during the weekdays that we were there. So this may be a longer term situation. However, the hotel is addressing this with free valet parking, but could be an issue when large groups are checking in or out, as with conferences at the hotel.
Also, the breakfast buffet (at $13 pp, unless you get this included in your room rate) is below average. Food variety was OK but not very appealing, and coffee was not very good either.

The check in time at the hotel was 2PM. We arrived at 4:30PM after driving for the whole day and the room was not ready yet. There were a few others who were waiting for their rooms too. They should be more prepared for getting the rooms ready on time even after a full house the night before. When we finally checked in the rooms were nice and clean.
Also after my return home I found out the hotel has directly charged me for two nights of stay even though I had prepaid the booking on Expedia.com. I am disputing their charges since I was not able to get hold of anyone on the phone to raise the issue.

The room was clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice. The parking lot was remote - short walk from hotel. Valets only pointed to where you were to park your car. At night in the lot we were approached by a man asking for money. Didn’t feel safe.

Parking was terrible. Adjacent garage has been closed for years and no indication of it ever being available.Generally the staff was ok.Had to walk thru pan handlers and drug addicts to get to car. Valet parking available if one wanted to wait forever to get car and having to tip each time.

This hotel is definitely undergoing some remodeling or renovation. The inside of the room was actually very neat, clean and felt new, however the entrance to the hotel looks dilapidated and the attached parking garage is closed.
